KALEO Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country

A KALEO presale for the Way Down We Go Tour is no longer something you can wait for, because our records show that both the Australian and the British legs of the 2027 run are already on general sale. The Icelandic band's schedule in our data starts in Fremantle on 10 February 2027, moves through Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, crosses the Tasman to Auckland on 18 February, and returns in April for four British shows at O2 branded rooms in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham. Australian tickets went on general sale on Friday 28 August 2026, and the British ones opened in July 2026, so what matters now is how to find a seat in rooms that have a limited capacity.

That is a different problem from the usual presale race, and this guide is written for it. We go through the three markets one at a time, explain which platforms sell tickets and how they handle returns, look at how mid-size theatre and academy rooms tend to behave in the last weeks before a show, and finish with a short plan for catching tickets that reappear. Nothing here involves a code or a link from us: access and returns come from the official sellers, and our alert form on this page tells you when and where something new is reported.

If you live in Australia: the KALEO presale and what followed

For Australia the sale record is concrete: general sale on Friday 28 August 2026 via Ticketmaster, AXS and the venues' own box offices. There is no presale listed in the data for this tour, although Australian promoters very often run a short window for mailing lists or for the venue's members before the public sale, and they frequently make a card partner window available too. Because our sources do not name one, we treat the August date as the only certain point, and we recommend that you do not rely on anyone claiming to have an early link. When a mid-sized show has no listed presale, the local promoter's mailing list or the venue's membership scheme is often the only early route, and joining them costs nothing; just do it before the announcement rather than after, since lists are normally closed once the on-sale time has passed.

The four Australian shows are quite different in character. Fremantle Prison on 10 February is an outdoor heritage venue with a limited capacity and a history of selling out quickly for guitar-based acts. Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on 12 February and the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on 13 February are mid-sized rooms of a few thousand people, while The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on 15 February is a theatre-style room. Each has its own box office and its own rules for transfers, so check the venue pages when you look for returns. Our Australia presale guide explains the normal flow.

Ticketmaster, AXS and venue box offices in a KALEO presale market

Australia's ticket market is shared by several companies, and the platform you need depends on the venue, not the artist. Ticketmaster handles many of the larger rooms, AXS runs others, and some theatres sell directly. A fan who creates accounts on all three before a sale saves the five minutes that often decide whether a good seat is available. When returned tickets appear, they normally show up on the platform that sold the event, so look there first. Many of these systems also include an official resale tool in which a fan can list a ticket at face value and the barcode is reissued to the new buyer, which is the safest way to buy second-hand in Australia. Keep each login separate and unique, and do not share a card number with anyone. Compare the three systems' fee structures, since a booking fee that looks small on one site can be a fixed amount per ticket on another.

New Zealand: a single KALEO presale question

The Auckland date is the Civic on 18 February 2027, and it is the one place on the tour where our data has no sale information at all. That is an honest gap, not a hint that nothing has happened: the announcement may simply not mention New Zealand separately, or the show may have been placed on sale with the Australian dates under a different ticketing partner. In New Zealand the dominant systems have traditionally been Ticketek and Ticketmaster, with some venues using their own box office, and the Civic is a historic theatre with a limited capacity. Auckland is also the only city on this leg outside Australia, so travellers from Sydney or Melbourne can compare the flight with a domestic trip. New Zealand buyers should check whether fees are displayed in New Zealand dollars from the start of checkout. Check the date again before booking.

If you plan to see KALEO in Auckland, the cleanest path is to search the venue's own events page and sign up for its newsletter, then compare the price with the Australian shows after exchange rates and flights. Our New Zealand presale guide describes how presales and general sales are normally staged there. Because we cannot confirm the status of the Civic show, we do not state whether it is on sale or sold out, and we recommend checking the official page today before making travel plans or booking a hotel that is not refundable. A sensible budget includes the ticket, the fee, transport to the Civic and a late-evening return, because a theatre show usually ends after ten at night.

British dates: why a KALEO presale mostly meant O2 branded rooms

The UK leg consists of O2 Academy Brixton in London on 3 April, O2 Apollo Manchester on 6 April, O2 Academy Glasgow on 8 April and O2 Academy Birmingham on 9 April 2027. Our records say that general sale opened in July 2026 through Ticketmaster and the venues' official outlets, with no specific presale recorded. In the UK, venues with the O2 name are linked to the O2 Priority programme, which gives customers of that mobile network early access to some events, so it is worth checking your O2 account for any future shows, even though we have no proof that a window applied to this one.

Because these rooms are typically standing venues with capacities between a couple of thousand and five thousand, they sell fast but also see steady returns. Standing tickets are easier to resell and to transfer than seated ones, and the official exchange is part of the Ticketmaster page in the UK. Read our guide to O2 Priority for the mechanics, and remember that a Brixton ticket can be a better bet than you might think in the final week, when work and travel problems make people list their places. In practice, the UK academy rooms run a simple model: a few hundred tickets may be held back, and the rest are sold in two waves, one for registered mailing-list subscribers and one for the public. Since the British shows fall in early April 2027, which is also the school holiday period in much of the country, weekday dates may sell more slowly than weekend ones.

How a KALEO presale differs for mid-size rooms

A mid-size room such as the Hordern Pavilion or the Apollo has different incentives from a stadium. There are fewer seats, so a few hundred tickets reserved for the promoter, the venue and the band can be a large share of the total. That reserve is why the last days before a show often bring new tickets, and why a sold-out message a month earlier does not predict what you will see on the day. If you are flexible about location, you may find a better chance by looking at the standing area of a general admission room. The entrance rules deserve a line of their own: mid-size venues often forbid large bags, have strict curfews and may close the doors for the support act earlier than a stadium would, so read the venue's visitor information before travelling for the evening.

Names on tickets are not typical for this size of show, but some venues check identification for accessible seating or for purchases made with a particular card. The most common cause of trouble is a mismatch between the card used online and the card presented at the door when the venue asks for it. If you cannot attend, use the official transfer or resale route and keep the confirmation. Our guide to resale rules sets out the framework, and the KALEO page on our calendar lists the dates in order. If a friend buys for you, ask them to send the ticket through the platform's transfer function early, so that the barcode is issued to your own account and you can show it on your phone. Keep a backup copy.

A plan for finding a late KALEO presale style ticket

The best plan is simple and repetitive. First, write down the exact venue pages for the shows you can reach. Second, create accounts on the platform that sells each of them and add your card. Third, check the pages at fixed times, usually on weekday mornings and again a few days before the show, when returns are processed and holds are released. Fourth, decide in advance what price you are willing to pay including fees, so you can act instantly when something appears. Keep the routine light: it takes five minutes a day and prevents the common mistake of refreshing a page for hours after a sale has finished and nothing is left to find.

The same approach works for travel-heavy trips. If you are building a holiday around the Australian shows, remember that Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are separated by thousands of kilometres, so booking flights before you hold a ticket is risky. Use the neighbouring dates as a hedge: Sydney on 13 February and Brisbane on 15 February are a short flight apart. Our alerts note when new shows are added, which can change the whole picture quickly, and we always say which country the change affects. A last point on accommodation: Fremantle is a smaller city and rooms near the prison fill early in the summer season, while Sydney and Melbourne have plenty of choice, so booking a refundable hotel is the right compromise while you wait for tickets.

Travel, time zones and the KALEO presale calendar

Because the tour crosses the world in two halves, time zones deserve attention. An Australian on-sale at 9 or 10 in the morning is the middle of the night or the previous afternoon in Britain, and the opposite applies to British sales for fans in Perth or Sydney. Our alert emails always give the local time of the platform and the country, but you should still convert it yourself, because daylight saving changes differ between hemispheres and can shift a start time by an hour twice a year, in March or April and again in October. To avoid mistakes, write the sale time for your own city in the calendar app the moment an alert reaches you, and delete the entry if the sale changes.

The calendar also matters for the bigger picture. The Australian and New Zealand shows fall in mid February, in the summer, while the British dates are in early April, in spring, with an interval of about seven weeks. A fan who wants to see two shows can plan the trip around the two legs, but should check each venue's refund policy and the airline's flexible fare conditions. Visit the KALEO calendar page for the date list, and the UK guide for the normal rules of British box offices. Also remember that visa or entry rules for a trip abroad are your responsibility and should be checked before a ticket is bought.

KALEO presale FAQ

These answers are limited to what our records show as of 25 October 2026: the Australian sale in August, the British sale in July, and a gap for New Zealand. Where something is unknown we say so, and where a decision depends on a venue's own rules we point you to the venue page. If an official ticketing site tells you something different, follow it, since it controls the price, the delivery and the refund terms for your order. We update them whenever the record changes, including when a new platform or a new date is reported by the sources we monitor. Please check back often. Short answers follow, one for each of the four questions we receive most. Where a box office has its own terms, those terms prevail over any general statement on this page, including ours.

Is there still a KALEO presale for the 2027 shows?

No window is listed, and both the Australian and the British legs have been on general sale for weeks or months. The Australian general sale opened on Friday 28 August 2026 and the British one in July 2026. What can still happen is a late release of held tickets, a returned order, or an additional date. Those appear without a fixed schedule, so the practical answer is to watch the official venue page and use our alert form for news about new shows. Do not pay anyone who offers a link or a code, since presale access comes from the artist, the promoter or the venue and never from a stranger. The band's official channels and the ticketing pages are the places where any new announcement will appear first, and our alerts follow them closely. Stay patient and watch the official pages.

Which platforms handle a KALEO presale or sale?

For Australia our records name Ticketmaster, AXS and the venues' own box offices, and for the UK Ticketmaster plus the venues' official outlets. For New Zealand we have no platform data, so check the Civic page directly. Accounts are separate from one platform to another and from one country to another, so set each up before you need it, confirm your email and save a payment card in the wallet to avoid delays when a seat appears. If you travel between the two countries, remember that the UK leg uses Ticketmaster UK and the Australian leg uses Ticketmaster Australia, so you may need a separate login for each, even though the company name is the same and the sites look alike. Always check the currency shown at the last step before paying, since cards often add a conversion charge on foreign transactions.

Can I use O2 Priority for a KALEO presale?

We have no evidence that O2 Priority was offered for these four shows, though the venues carry the O2 name. The programme is tied to O2 customers and applies only to selected events, so check the app or the account page if you are a customer. If a window opens, it will appear there with its own time and instructions. Do not pay for access, and do not believe messages that claim to sell Priority codes. If you are an O2 customer and the app shows an offer for this tour, read the terms carefully, as priority tickets are often limited to a number per customer and require a specific payment method such as the mobile bill or a registered card. Keep your mobile network account details to hand.

What if my KALEO presale target is sold out?

Check the official exchange on the platform that sold it, and look again close to the date when production holds are released. Consider a neighbouring city: in Australia the schedule gives four dates in six days, and in the UK four dates in a week. Always compare the total price, including fees, and avoid paying outside a platform that offers a buyer guarantee. If you must travel, book flexible transport until you have a ticket in your account. Also consider standing versus seated options, because a general admission ticket for the academy rooms often returns more often than a seat, and remember that arriving early on the night gives you a better position than the ticket category alone. Ask the venue about accessible options too.
