Artist presale guide
Slash Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country
The Slash presale for the UK and Ireland shows of summer 2027 is shaped by the unusual venues. The six dates in our data are Cardiff Castle on Wednesday 30 June, the Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Thursday 1 July, Trinity College in Dublin on Saturday 3 July, Custom House Square in Belfast on Sunday 4 July, The Piece Hall in Halifax on Tuesday 6 July and the Eventim Apollo in London on Wednesday 7 July. Only the last is a conventional theatre-style music hall; the others are castles, courtyards, open-air theatres and heritage squares, which bring their own ticketing arrangements, capacity limits and weather rules. Our record says that general sale opened on Tuesday 6 October 2026 via Ticketmaster and the official venue outlets.
No presale is named in the record, and that leaves the question of what an interested fan should do. This guide takes the venues in turn, because the building tells you more about your chances than the artist does, and it explains how outdoor and heritage venues sell tickets, how they handle returns, and what to prepare for added dates. We do not publish codes, we do not state prices, and no page can promise access. We offer a method for finding legitimate tickets, with an emphasis on the details that fans overlook until the day of the show. The six shows run between 30 June and 7 July 2027, which makes the whole tour a single week of travel for anyone who wants more than one date.

What the Slash presale record contains
The wording is simple: general sale opened on 6 October 2026, via Ticketmaster and the official outlets of each venue. That is almost three weeks ago, and there is no mention of an artist list, a fan-club window, a card partner or an O2-style customer scheme. For shows in castles and heritage squares, early access is often organised by the venue itself, for instance through a membership or a newsletter, and by the artist's mailing list, but our data does not identify either, so we do not claim that they existed. Consider what this means for you. First, the stock is now mostly in the hands of buyers who acted in the first days, but outdoor venues often have large capacities and several ticket categories, so some inventory may still exist. Second, any Slash presale code that you see advertised for a sale that opened three weeks ago deserves suspicion. Third, the venue pages are the best place to look for official updates, such as extra seating blocks or a change to the layout. Our UK presale guide describes the types of early windows used in Britain.

Cardiff Castle and Scarborough: heritage and seaside in the Slash presale
The tour opens at Cardiff Castle, a city-centre site with a historic setting in which the stage and the audience are placed in the grounds. Scarborough Open Air Theatre, a large seaside amphitheatre, follows the next evening. Both use outdoor layouts with standing areas and seated blocks, and the details of the arrangement are published on the venue pages. Capacities are large by comparison with a theatre, but they are fixed, and the best locations are limited. When you look at the ticket page, compare the categories, since a standing field, a seated terrace and a hospitality area are different products. Check the transport plan: Cardiff Castle is easy to reach from the station, whereas Scarborough's open-air theatre is a short journey from the town centre, and late trains can be limited. Outdoor events are subject to weather policies. Read the terms about postponement or cancellation, and keep your order confirmation. Do not assume that rain means a refund, because most outdoor concerts go ahead in all but the most severe conditions.
Dublin and Belfast: the Slash presale across the island of Ireland
The Irish dates are Trinity College in Dublin on 3 July and Custom House Square in Belfast on 4 July. These two shows fall on consecutive days, a Saturday and a Sunday, so many fans will treat them as alternatives, travelling by train between the cities or flying from Britain. Dublin's venue is in the university grounds in the city centre, and Belfast's is a large public square on the waterfront. The Irish and Northern Irish sales are separate markets with separate currencies, the euro and the pound, and Ticketmaster operates a different site for each. Fans on one side of the border who prefer the other date need accounts on both sites, a card that works in both currencies and a plan for crossing the border. Check the entry rules of each venue, since city-centre sites can have restrictions on bags, umbrellas and bottles. Our Irish presale guide explains the main agents, and the way fans in Ireland handle queues and returns. If one date is sold out, look at the other at once, because other fans will do the same.

Halifax and London: two very different ends to the Slash presale tour
The Piece Hall in Halifax is a Georgian courtyard that has become a notable summer concert venue, and its date on 6 July is a Tuesday. The final show is at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on Wednesday 7 July, an indoor theatre with a large standing floor and balconies. Halifax has a limited capacity and a loyal local audience, whereas London draws from a vast area and from visitors who plan a weekend in the capital. The Piece Hall may also list the event on its own site as well as through Ticketmaster, so check both. In London, the Apollo's own site and Ticketmaster show the same event, and the venue or the agent may offer an exchange for returns at face value. If you look for a ticket in the days before the show, expect small batches. In Halifax, the courtyard's layout and its entry points are specific, and the venue publishes guidance for each event. Both shows are on weekdays, which may make travel easier and cheaper. See the venue presale explainer to understand how venue-run windows usually work.
Weather, access and gates: reading the Slash presale small print
Outdoor concerts in Britain in late June and early July can be warm, wet or both, and the small print on the ticket page matters more than for an indoor arena. Look for the policy on rain, the list of permitted items, the rules on chairs and blankets, and the arrangements for re-entry. Heritage sites often have restricted access routes, cobbled paths and steps, and step-free routes may be limited to certain gates. If you have mobility needs, contact the venue well before the show and ask for details in writing. Gates may open early, and queues can form at popular entrances. Bring identification if your ticket is named, a charged phone for a mobile ticket and a backup copy of the barcode. Sound levels and sightlines vary within an open-air site, and the seat map usually shows the view from each block. Plan your route home before the show, as roads around castles and squares are often closed and taxis are scarce. These details are the difference between a smooth evening and a tiring one.

Added dates and the next Slash presale
When a summer run sells well, promoters add shows, often in the same region and in a similar type of venue. The announcement usually comes in two steps, with an early window for the artist's list or a partner and a general sale a few days later. If it happens, it will be announced on official channels, and our alerts will pass it on. Because the early window can be short, you should prepare in advance: join the artist's mailing list with an address you check daily, and follow the venues you might use. Keep your accounts ready. Ticketmaster in the UK and Ireland uses separate sites, so create and test both. Save a card, confirm the delivery method and decide the maximum number of tickets. When the email arrives, click only the link inside it, and read the instructions twice. If the link fails, do not panic: contact the sender's support page rather than the first result in a search. A quick, calm response is the best way to turn a short window into a purchase.
Group travel and accommodation around a Slash presale trip
The route is a good one for a road trip. Cardiff, Scarborough, Dublin, Belfast, Halifax and London are far apart, but each pair of consecutive dates is within a day's travel, apart from the crossing between Scarborough and Dublin, which needs a flight or a ferry. A fan who hopes to see two shows should look at Dublin and Belfast, or Halifax and London, as the most practical pairs. Fix the ticket first, then book trains, flights and rooms with free cancellation, because summer prices in coastal and heritage towns rise sharply near big events. Cardiff on Wednesday 30 June and Scarborough on Thursday 1 July are a day apart, and Dublin on Saturday 3 July and Belfast on Sunday 4 July are another consecutive pair.
Scarborough and Halifax have limited hotel stock compared with large cities, and a concert with thousands of visitors fills it quickly. Consider staying in a nearby city and travelling in, checking the last return trains. For groups, agree a budget and a meeting time, and decide who is the contact for the tickets. Keep screenshots of the confirmations and the venue directions, since mobile reception at remote or crowded sites can be poor. A bit of planning avoids the stress of finding a room at midnight. Halifax is a small Yorkshire town with limited rooms, and the Piece Hall date falls on Tuesday 6 July, the night before London.

Slash presale FAQ
Slash's UK and Ireland summer 2027 run has six dates between Cardiff Castle on Wednesday 30 June and the Eventim Apollo in London on Wednesday 7 July, and our record shows a general sale on Tuesday 6 October 2026 through Ticketmaster and the official outlets of each venue, with no presale named. The answers below stay with that single entry and with the character of the six venues, which include castle grounds, an open-air theatre, a university campus and a heritage courtyard. No prices appear in the record, so none are quoted, and nothing here is an access link. Replies are written for the autumn of 2026.
Was there a Slash presale before 6 October?
Our record names only the general sale of 6 October 2026. An earlier window may have existed, but we cannot describe it. If one did, access was probably through a mailing list or a venue list, and it has ended. For now, rely on the agents, the venue pages and the exchange, and treat any code offered by a stranger as unreliable. A Tuesday release date is a little unusual, so a fan who expected a Friday may have missed it. Note that the sale opened more than eight months before the first show at Cardiff Castle. Nothing earlier is recorded.
Which venues sell Slash presale tickets directly?
Our record for the UK and Ireland names Ticketmaster and the official outlets of each venue, and the six venues are quite different in character: Cardiff Castle, the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Trinity College in Dublin, Custom House Square in Belfast, The Piece Hall in Halifax and the Eventim Apollo in London. Some of the venues, such as The Piece Hall and the Eventim Apollo, have their own event pages, and others rely mainly on Ticketmaster. Start from the venue's website and follow the ticket link, which takes you to the authorised seller and the correct fees. Trinity College and Custom House Square host temporary stages, so their ticket pages are especially worth reading for layout and gate details.
Is the Slash presale in Dublin sold in euros?
Yes, the Dublin show would be priced in euros through the Irish site, while Belfast uses pounds. The checkout shows the currency before you pay. If your card is in another currency, your bank may add a conversion fee. Create accounts on the correct site in advance, since a British account may not work on an Irish one. Trinity College is a central Dublin site, and the Irish Ticketmaster page shows the currency before you pay. Dublin's date is Saturday 3 July and Belfast's is Sunday 4 July, so a fan who buys both needs one account on each national site and a card that handles both euros and pounds. Check the exchange rate your bank applies, because a foreign transaction fee on two orders adds up.
Can I still get Slash presale tickets for London?
You can try. The Eventim Apollo is the only indoor venue and the one with the most active exchange. Check the venue page and Ticketmaster at different times of day, and look for returns in the weeks before the show. Be ready to buy quickly, and avoid listings that do not state the section and seat. Hammersmith is well served by Underground lines, but the Apollo is a busy venue, so travel early on Wednesday 7 July. Returns there are most likely to appear in small numbers during the final fortnight before the show, so check the Apollo's page and Ticketmaster's exchange in the morning and again late at night, and have your card and wallet app ready.
How can I tell if a Slash presale listing is genuine?
Check that the date, venue and time match the venue's official page, that the listing names the section, row or area and that the platform explains how the ticket is delivered. Genuine tickets are normally transferred through the primary agent's system. Be suspicious of low prices, urgent messages and requests for payment by methods that cannot be reversed. If the seller will not use an official transfer, walk away. Keep records of everything, and ask the venue if you are unsure. A listing for Cardiff Castle on 30 June should name a block or area on the grounds, and one for Scarborough on 1 July should name a seat or terrace section.
