Westlife Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country

The Westlife presale for the 25 – The Anniversary World Tour looks very different from the usual chart of early windows, because the information we hold concerns a sale that opened fourteen months before the first Australian show. Our record gives a general sale on Friday 15 May 2026 via Ticketek, Ticketmaster, AXS and the venues' own box offices, for dates running from Perth's RAC Arena on 16 July 2027 through Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, then four nights in New Zealand: two at Spark Arena in Auckland on 28 and 29 July and two at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch on 30 and 31 July. No presale is named, and no other region appears in our dates.

That is a long wait, and it gives this page a particular purpose. Instead of describing a race that has already finished, we look at how a fan should behave during the many months between a sale and a show: how to catch returns, how to use the cross-Tasman option when one side is sold out, and what to watch for when an additional date is announced. We do not publish codes, we do not state prices, and no guide can promise a ticket. We simply set out the options in an order that suits a patient buyer. The nine Australian and New Zealand dates fall between 16 and 31 July 2027.

Why the Westlife presale timeline is so long

When a promoter puts an arena tour on sale more than a year before the first date, the intention is usually to capture demand early and to leave time for added shows. For fans, the effect is that the best seats were taken in May 2026, and the remaining inventory is a mixture of the less popular blocks, restricted-view seats, and tickets that return over time. The Westlife presale record is silent about any early window, so we cannot say whether a list or a partner had access before 15 May, but it is certain that the public sale is long over. The positive side of a long timeline is that many things change before the show. Fans who bought in May may face changes in work, family or finances, and cancellations arrive in a steady trickle. Production holds are released as the stage design is finalised, normally in the last two months. This means that your best opportunities are not in the first weeks but in the long middle and in the final month. A routine that you can maintain for many months is therefore more valuable than a dramatic effort on a single day.

Five Australian cities: choosing among the Westlife presale arenas

The Australian leg visits Perth's RAC Arena on 16 July, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Arena on 18 July, Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on 20 July, the Sydney arena on 23 July and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 26 July. Their capacities differ widely: Rod Laver and the Sydney arena are among the largest in the country, Perth and Adelaide are mid-sized, and Brisbane's arena is slightly smaller. Larger rooms are more likely to show returns, whereas smaller rooms sell out and stay quiet. The agents are Ticketek, Ticketmaster and AXS, with the venue boxes, and the right one depends on the building. A good method is to look at the venue's page, follow its ticket link and note which agent it uses. Weekday shows, such as Adelaide on a Sunday evening or Melbourne on a Tuesday, are often easier than the Friday or Saturday in a bigger city. Several Australian states restrict resale prices, so the official exchange of the agent is the cleanest route. See the Australian presale guide for background.

Auckland and Christchurch: the New Zealand Westlife presale option

New Zealand has four nights, which is a lot for a small country. Spark Arena in Auckland hosts two nights on 28 and 29 July, and Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch hosts two on 30 and 31 July. For Australian fans who miss a ticket at home, a short trip across the Tasman Sea can be a realistic alternative, especially in the school holiday period when flights are frequent. For New Zealand fans, the double dates give a second chance if the first night is gone. The prices are in New Zealand dollars, and tickets are sold by the agent that serves the venue, with the same group of agents mentioned in our record. If you plan to buy across the border, create an account on the correct site, check that your card is accepted and read the delivery terms. Remember that some New Zealand venues, particularly in Christchurch, have their own notices about entry times and bag policy. The New Zealand presale guide covers the main agents and the resale position in the country.

How to catch returns after a Westlife presale this long ago

Returns are the main source of tickets for a show that sold out a year earlier. They appear in three ways. First, individual fans release tickets through the exchange of the primary agent. Second, the promoter releases production seats that were held for equipment, which usually happens close to the show. Third, the venue's box office puts held seats on sale. All three are visible if you check the right pages at the right time, and none is announced in advance. A sensible routine is to check your chosen dates twice a week, then daily in the last month, and to do it at different times so that you see different batches. Keep an account logged in on a phone, with a saved card and delivery details. When you see a pair of seats, buy at once. If the price is slightly higher than you wanted, consider that the next opportunity might not arrive. Avoid the temptation to refresh the page hundreds of times in a short period, since it can slow your session or trigger a security check.

Resale rules and the Westlife presale in Australia and New Zealand

Resale is regulated differently in Australia and New Zealand. Several Australian states cap the price of resale at a small margin above face value, and the primary agents operate official exchanges where tickets can be returned or sold within the rules. New Zealand has its own consumer law. The details change, so the right approach is to read the terms of the platform and to check the position in the state or country of the show. For ordinary fans, the cleanest policy is simple. If you must sell a ticket, return it through the official channel at face value. If you buy, use the same channel, because a ticket bought there is transferred inside the system. If you are tempted by a listing on another platform, ask for the section, row and seat, check that a guarantee exists, and pay by a method that offers protection. Our resale rules explainer provides a neutral overview of how these systems work.

A year-long checklist for a Westlife presale ticket holder

If you do hold tickets, the long wait still requires some attention. Save the confirmation emails, and note the order number and the account used. Check the date and the venue every few months in case of changes. Keep the card used for the purchase in a safe place if the venue asks to see it, and check that your name matches your identification if the ticket is named. If friends are coming, decide how and when to transfer the tickets, and who will carry the barcode on the night. Travel needs similar care. Book flights and hotels with free cancellation, because show dates can move. Check the airline's rules on date changes, and read your travel insurance policy, which may not cover cancellations by an event organiser unless you purchase the right option. In the month before the show, check the venue's transport and entry notices, and download your tickets to the wallet. A well-kept folder of documents makes the day easier and turns a distant plan into a relaxed evening.

Family groups and the Westlife presale: seats together and age rules

Anniversary tours attract mixed audiences, and many buyers book for family groups spanning several generations. That makes seating plans important. In an arena, adjacent seats in the same row are the usual aim, and sets of four or six together are scarce in the later stages of a sale. If you cannot find the whole group together, consider splitting into pairs in the same block rather than accepting seats in different tiers. Check the walking distance from your seats to the nearest exit and the toilets, particularly if someone in the group has mobility needs. Spark Arena in Auckland on 28 and 29 July and Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch on 30 and 31 July are the places where a family group is most likely to find four seats in a row.

Arenas in Australia and New Zealand have clear policies on children, strollers, bags and bottles, which you can find on the venue pages. Many admit all ages with a ticket for every person who occupies a seat, and some restrict very young children from standing areas. Doors usually open an hour or two before the main act, and queues for security can be long on the night. Arrive early, bring identification if the ticket is named and agree a meeting point with your group in case your phones lose signal in the crowd. Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on 20 July and Perth's RAC Arena on 16 July both publish their own bag and entry guidance on their websites.

Westlife presale FAQ

Westlife 25 – The Anniversary World Tour is a long-range sale, with Australian and New Zealand tickets released on Friday 15 May 2026 for nine dates between Perth on 16 July and Christchurch on 31 July 2027, so the questions below concern a very old on-sale rather than a live one. They rely on the single entry we hold, which names Ticketek, Ticketmaster, AXS and the venues' own box offices, and on the venue list. Nothing in our records gives prices or an early window, so none are quoted here, and nothing in these answers is an access link. Prices are never quoted here.

Is there a Westlife presale before the 2027 dates?

For the Australian and New Zealand dates in our data, general sale opened on 15 May 2026, and no earlier window is named. Any early access has therefore ended. A new window would appear only if an extra date were added, in which case the announcement would state the mechanism. Until then, follow the official channels and ignore messages that offer codes for a sale that finished long ago. A fan checking Adelaide on 18 July, Sydney on 23 July and Brisbane on 26 July should look for returns in the final weeks. Perth on 16 July and Melbourne on 20 July follow the same logic. Ignore anyone who contacts you first with a code.

Which agent sells Westlife presale tickets in New Zealand?

The record names Ticketek, Ticketmaster, AXS and the venues' own box offices for the region as a whole. The right one for Auckland or Christchurch is whichever the venue links on its own page. Start from the venue website and follow the ticket button. Keep in mind that an account for an Australian site may not work on a New Zealand one, so create what you need in advance. Christchurch's Wolfbrook Arena and Auckland's Spark Arena are the two New Zealand venues, and each venue page shows which agent it uses. Test the passwords on all of them early. New Zealand dollars appear at checkout.

Are more Westlife presale dates likely?

We cannot predict that. Our data lists only the Australian and New Zealand dates, and no other region appears. The tour's name suggests a worldwide plan, but the list is what counts. If other dates are announced elsewhere, they will have their own sales and their own windows, and the alert form on this page will tell you about any change that reaches our data. Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch are the only seven cities in the data. Do not assume an extra stop based on a rumour or on the global label in the tour's name. Wait for an official post.

Can I swap a Westlife presale ticket to another night?

That depends on the agent and the venue. Some allow exchanges within a limited period, often with a fee, while others permit only a return or a resale through the official exchange. The policy is shown in the terms of your order. If you wish to change nights, ask the agent before you list your ticket, since selling first and hoping to buy later can leave you without a seat. Auckland's two nights on 28 and 29 July and Christchurch's two on 30 and 31 July make an official swap between nights more plausible than in the single-night cities, but always ask the agent before listing anything.

How do I avoid mistakes when buying a Westlife presale ticket?

Slow down at the final screen. Check the date, the city, the section and the number of tickets, and compare the total with the price shown earlier. Make sure you are on the official site by typing the venue name yourself instead of following a link in a message. Do not close the page after payment until the confirmation appears, and look for the email. If something looks wrong, contact the agent straight away with your order number, because refunds are easier in the first hours. With nine dates in sixteen days it is easy to click the wrong city, particularly when Auckland and Christchurch each list two consecutive nights.
