First Aid Kit Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country
The First Aid Kit presale for the UK and Ireland tour in January 2027 is best understood through Dublin, the only city for which our network record gives a full ladder of early access. On Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 10am Irish time, the artist presale and a Three+ presale opened, then on Thursday 8 October the Spotify and MCD presales followed, and the general sale arrived on Friday 9 October at 10am through Ticketmaster. For the other nine British dates the record says only that general sale opened on 9 October through Ticketmaster and the official outlets of each venue. The ladder of four early windows in three days is rich, and it shows how a theatre-sized folk tour can be sold in a way that rewards several kinds of fan.
Because all of those sales are now in the past, this guide asks a practical question: if you did not get a ticket, how do the theatres of the tour sell, and what do you do next? The shows are in places such as the Olympia Theatre, the Waterfront Hall, O2 City Hall in Newcastle and the Eventim Apollo in London, with capacities that are modest compared with arenas. We do not repeat the date and sale tables that the template shows, we publish no codes, because access comes only through the official channel, and we flag whatever our data does not cover. Please check each venue's ticket page for current terms.

A four-rung ladder: the Dublin First Aid Kit presale explained
Look at the Dublin record rung by rung. The first rung is the artist presale, which depends on the band's own list. The second is the Three+ presale, a customer rewards scheme of the mobile operator Three in Ireland, which means that a fan who held a Three account could get in without being on any music list. The third is the Spotify presale, tied to a listener's streaming profile, and the fourth is the MCD presale, a promoter list. Spotify and MCD ran on the day after the artist and Three+ windows, so the schedule put the most committed fans first and the broader audience later.
For the fan, this structure means that there were at least four different doors, and which one you could use depended on what you had joined before the announcement. None of them could be bought or borrowed. If you want to understand each type, see our guides to the artist presale, Spotify presale and promoter presale, and remember that a telecom scheme like Three+ is attached to a phone account, so the benefit lies with the account holder and is not transferable to a friend. A late joiner could still use the general sale, but would be entering after four earlier groups had already taken seats.

Why the First Aid Kit presale is gentler on theatre-sized rooms
A tour of theatres is not a tour of arenas, and the difference changes how a presale feels. A hall such as O2 City Hall in Newcastle, the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton, New Theatre in Cardiff or Brighton Dome has a few thousand seats at most, often fewer, so the supply is small and the early windows absorb a large share. At the same time, the audience for an indie folk act tends to be loyal and well informed, and many buy in the first hours. A fan who arrived on the Friday was therefore competing for a pool that earlier windows had already thinned.
Theatres also have features that arenas lack: fixed seats with numbers, balconies, boxes and sometimes restricted-view positions that are sold at a discount. The best value is often a side seat in the stalls close to the stage, not a central seat far back. Check the seat plan for each venue before the next sale, and note which areas you prefer. Our venue presale guide explains why a theatre's own list is often an excellent route, since the box office controls a good part of its inventory and can release it earlier than the public sale. Some theatres release a few seats later, when the sound desk or camera positions are fixed.

Ireland and Northern Ireland: First Aid Kit presale on the island of Ireland
The tour begins in Dublin on 18 January 2027 at the Olympia Theatre and moves to Belfast the next evening, at the Waterfront Hall. Our record gives the full ladder only for Dublin. For Belfast the record joins the UK-wide summary, which names Ticketmaster and the official outlets, with general sale on 9 October. That means a Northern Irish fan might have had access to some of the early windows, but we cannot say which. The two cities are on different ticketing sites with different currencies, so an account in one does not carry across to the other. Choose your login carefully when you sign up, because a typing error in an email address is a common reason why invitations never arrive.
If you are looking for a ticket in either city, check the venue's own site as well as Ticketmaster, since the Waterfront Hall and the Olympia run their own box offices. Look for releases in the days before the show, when holds and returns are cleared. Our Ireland guide and UK guide describe how resale and ticket transfer work on each side of the border. Because the two shows are only a day apart, a fan from Dublin who cannot get a ticket at home might consider the train to Belfast, and vice versa. Remember that a euro ticket and a sterling ticket are separate products, with different fees and different refund rules.

Glasgow to London: the First Aid Kit presale and sale across Britain
After Belfast the tour visits Glasgow's O2 Academy on 20 January, Newcastle on the 22nd, Manchester's O2 Apollo on the 23rd, Wolverhampton on the 24th, Cardiff on the 25th and Brighton on the 27th, and ends with two nights at the Eventim Apollo in London on 28 and 29 January. According to our record, all of these opened for general sale on Friday 9 October at 10am. Some venues in this list are linked to O2 customer schemes, and a fan who holds that kind of account might have had access to an earlier window, but the record does not say so, so we do not claim it.
The London double is the most likely place for returned tickets, because two nights give two chances, and the Eventim Apollo has an official resale partner. Fans in the north can choose between Newcastle and Manchester, which are connected by rail, and those in the Midlands have Wolverhampton. Plan your journey with the last trains in mind, because folk and indie shows often finish at around 10:30pm. Our resale rules guide sets out what is normally allowed when you pass a ticket on, and our queue guide explains what a waiting room does. Do not forget that London accommodation is dearer on show nights, so book a flexible rate.
How to prepare for the next First Aid Kit presale
The Dublin ladder suggests four preparations that cost nothing. Join the artist's mailing list, follow the band on the streaming service you use, join the mailing lists of the theatres on the route and, if you live in Ireland, check whether your mobile operator offers a ticket programme. Add a promoter list such as MCD or Live Nation, if you are in a market that uses them. Then create Ticketmaster accounts for each country and save your payment details. All of this should be done before any announcement, because sign-up deadlines are usually shorter than a day. Keep the details of every membership in a note so that you know which email address belongs to which scheme.
On the day, keep a note of the exact time and the time zone, since a 10am start in Ireland is the same as in Britain, but it will be a different hour for fans in other countries. Use one device and one tab, and keep your phone nearby for verification codes. If you do not succeed in a presale, the general sale is open to all, and returns may follow. We cannot promise access, but the alert form on this page will tell you when and where a new window opens, and the calendar lists the known ones. After the sale, check your order at once and save the ticket to your phone.
Access, seating and etiquette: First Aid Kit presale details people forget
Quiet seated shows have their own rules, and they matter as much as the timing of the sale. Many theatres sell accessible seats through a dedicated telephone line or booking form, with a companion place included, and they are not available in the ordinary online queue. If you need them, contact the box office before the on-sale date, ask what proof is required and how early you can register. Seat plans can be unusual: a balcony row may be much steeper than expected, a box may have a partially blocked view, and a stalls seat under an overhang can lose the sense of space that you pay for.
Age limits are another point to check. Some theatres and halls admit children only with an adult, others set a minimum age, and a few allow all ages but recommend ear protection. Alcohol policies, re-entry rules and cloakroom charges differ from one venue to another. Doors typically open an hour before the start, and for a harmony-led act the support slot is part of the evening, so arriving on time is worthwhile. After you buy, read the confirmation email in full, because it usually contains the doors time, the entry method and the contact details of the box office. Keep it until after the show.

First Aid Kit presale FAQ
These answers rely on the network record as of 25 October 2026. It gives a full early-access sequence for Dublin and a summary for the rest of the UK, and it holds no prices and no ticket limits, so we give none. We say so whenever the record is silent, and we never fill the gaps with guesses. The venue and the ticket seller are the final authority on every detail, and the alert form on this page is the easiest way to be told of changes such as added shows, new windows or returned allocations. No code for the First Aid Kit shows is sold or leaked here, and handing money to someone who says otherwise is a mistake. Because the tour is made of small and mid-sized venues, availability changes quickly and our summary is a snapshot, so please check the venue page before you make travel arrangements or share plans with friends. We refresh this page when the record changes.
What were the First Aid Kit presale dates for Dublin?
The record gives Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 10am Irish time for the artist presale and the Three+ presale, and Thursday 8 October for the Spotify and MCD presales. General sale followed on Friday 9 October at 10am via Ticketmaster. All four early windows and the public sale are now over. If you did not buy, check Ticketmaster and the Olympia Theatre's page for returns and releases, and look at the official resale tool, if there is one, where fans list tickets at prices set by the seller. The alert form on this page tells you if an extra date is announced. The time of day is the same in each case, but the second-day windows may have different start times in practice, so check the details of any invitation you received. Remember that Ireland and the UK share the same clock time, so the 10am start fell at the same moment in both.
What is the Three+ First Aid Kit presale?
It is a presale offered through a mobile operator's customer programme in Ireland, which means that access is tied to a phone account and not to a music list. The record does not describe the exact conditions, so we do not state them, but programmes of this kind usually give registered customers a link or code a day or so before the public sale, with a limit on the number of tickets per account. If you want to use such a scheme next time, check which operator you use and whether it offers ticket benefits, and read its terms carefully. Never buy a code from a third party. If you are not an Irish customer, such a scheme may not apply to you at all, and the equivalent in your own country may be a bank, a card issuer or a streaming service. The fact that the phone company is the gate, not the band, is what makes this type of presale unusual and worth knowing about.
Where do I buy tickets after the First Aid Kit presale and general sale?
Ticketmaster is named for the UK and Ireland in the record, together with the official outlets of each venue, which in practice means the box offices of the theatres and halls on the tour. Start from the venue's own page to be sure that you reach the right seller, check the total price with fees, and keep the confirmation email. Look at the seat plan, since theatres have restricted-view seats that sell later and often at a lower price. If you buy resale, compare the listing with the official event page, and use a protected payment method. If a price seems far lower than expected, check that fees are included and that the seat is not a restricted-view one. Never pay a stranger by bank transfer, and be wary of a seller who will not tell you the section and row. Ask for a copy of the confirmation, and check that the name, date and venue match the official listing before you part with money.
Can I get First Aid Kit presale tickets for the London shows now?
There is no presale to join, as the record shows general sale as open since 9 October, but the Eventim Apollo has two nights, on 28 and 29 January 2027, and returned tickets can appear on either. Check the venue page and Ticketmaster at different times of day, including evenings and weekends, and look at the official resale partner. If both nights show as sold out, consider Brighton or Cardiff, which are connected to London by rail, or the Midlands date in Wolverhampton. The alert form on this page will tell you if an added show appears. Whatever you decide, keep your receipt and the order number until the show has taken place. Weekday evenings are often the quietest times in the box office, and phone lines for accessible seats are staffed during office hours only, so try to call early in the day. Written confirmation of any special arrangement protects you if staff change before the show.
