Artist presale guide
Nickelback Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country
The Nickelback presale for the Everything Under The Sun Tour 2027 has already run its course in most places, and that is exactly what makes it a useful case study. Between Tuesday 13 October and Friday 16 October 2026, the band's arena run across North America and Europe moved through an artist window, a cluster of partner windows and then general sale, all inside four days. If you missed it, the shows are not necessarily gone, and if you caught it, you can see which route worked in your own country. This guide walks through the Nickelback presale market by market, using the sale texts we have actually collected rather than guesses.
The tour itself is a long one: seven United States arenas starting in Chicago on 18 February 2027, seven Canadian dates from Montreal on 12 March, then Leeds on 22 May and a European sweep that ends in Copenhagen on 13 July, with Don Broco as support. The date tables on this page list every show, so we will not repeat them here. What the tables cannot show is that the same band sold tickets in very different ways depending on the country. The sections below explain those differences, so a fan in Hannover, Dublin or Calgary knows which kind of access to expect the next time a date is added or a new run is announced.

How the Nickelback presale was staged across four days
The rhythm was simple and repeated almost everywhere. On Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 10am local time, the artist presale opened for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Partner windows followed on 14 and 15 October, and general sale started on Friday 16 October at 10am local time. Each stage normally lasts only until the next begins, so the presale is better thought of as a three-day queue than as a single event with a single moment of truth. In plain terms, a fan who treats the whole week as one event, rather than watching for a single start time, has several realistic ways to succeed and very little reason to panic.
That staging matters because inventory is released in waves rather than in one pool. Early windows tend to see the widest choice of seats, while later ones see whatever is left after the earlier groups have bought. If you could only be online once, the artist window on the Tuesday was the strongest option. If you missed it, the partner windows on Wednesday and Thursday still offered a second and third chance before the public opening, which is far more forgiving than a one-shot sale. Planning around all of them, rather than only the first, is the habit that separates calm buyers from stressed ones. This is also why it is unwise to judge a sale by the first few minutes of social media complaints, since later windows often run much more smoothly than the opening one.

United States Nickelback presale: artist, Live Nation and Spotify
For Chicago, our records show an artist presale on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 10am local time, followed by Live Nation and Spotify presales across 13 and 14 October, then Ticketmaster general sale on the Friday. The same layout applies to Nashville, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, Las Vegas and Dallas, although individual arenas can differ by a few hours. The artist window is normally reached through the sign-up on the band's own channels, while the Live Nation window uses the promoter's customer account and the Spotify window is tied to a listener's account and activity. Chicago's United Center, Atlanta's State Farm Arena and Boston's TD Garden are all large buildings, so a single window can hold thousands of buyers at once.
American buyers will recognise the pattern: several overlapping windows, all feeding into one Ticketmaster queue, with the same cart timer and the same ticket limit. Because the windows overlap, there is no reason to register for only one. A fan who had set up the Ticketmaster account, the Live Nation account and the artist sign-up in advance had three separate chances to get through the line. For more on how these systems fit together, see our Verified Fan guide and the page on US presale rules, which cover queues, limits and what happens when a sale is oversubscribed. Having every account verified and every card saved before 10am is the most useful thing you can do.
Canadian Nickelback presale: Montreal to Vancouver
Canada followed the American template with one local detail. Our Montreal record shows the artist presale on Tuesday 13 October 2026, with Live Nation and Spotify windows on 13 and 14 October, and general sale on 16 October through Ticketmaster Canada. The seven Canadian dates run from Montreal on 12 March 2027 to Vancouver on 9 April, taking in Hamilton, Toronto, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Calgary on the way, so one sale calendar had to cover five time zones in a single week. Hamilton and Toronto on 20 and 21 March are close together, which gives southern Ontario fans two nearby choices.
Time zones are the practical issue. A 10am local start means 10am in Quebec but only 10am Pacific time in Vancouver, so it is worth setting a phone alarm in your own zone rather than relying on a screenshot from a friend in another city. The Prairie dates, Saskatoon and Edmonton, are smaller buildings than Toronto or Montreal, and smaller buildings lose their best seats faster. If you are choosing between a bigger city and a nearby smaller one, it helps to know that before the queue begins. Read the broader Canadian presale guide for local rules on limits and cards. Canadian buyers often forget this until the morning of the sale.

UK and Irish Nickelback presale: O2, OVO and Co-op windows
The UK route was the most layered. The artist presale opened on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 10am UK time, then O2 Priority, OVO and Co-op presales followed on 14 October and Live Nation on 15 October, before general sale on Friday 16 October via Ticketmaster. The five British dates are Leeds on 22 May, London on 25 May, Birmingham on 28 May, Glasgow on 1 June and Manchester on 2 June 2027, and Dublin on 30 May sits in the middle with Irish time and the same ladder of windows. Each window uses its own eligibility rule, and the rule is checked at the moment you log in, not when you read the email.
In practice the venue-linked windows are the interesting ones. The OVO window for Glasgow, the Co-op window for Manchester and the O2 window for London reward people who live near, or hold a relationship with, that building. If you are an O2 customer, the O2 Priority guide explains how the app works, and the UK country page covers queue behaviour. Irish fans should read the page on Ireland's ticketing system because 3Arena sales run on Irish time and follow Irish consumer habits. Even outside those groups, the artist sign-up covered everyone in the country, so no British fan was locked out of the first window by geography alone.
Continental Nickelback presale rules: Mastercard, Spotify and local habits
On the Continent the mix changed by city. Brussels shows an artist window on 13 October, followed by Mastercard, Live Nation and Spotify partner windows on 14 and 15 October. Kaunas shows a Mastercard presale on 14 October and Live Nation on 15 October, with tickets sold through the local seller Bilietai.lt, and Budapest had a Live Nation presale on 15 October with no artist presale in Hungary at all. Milan simply recorded a presale before general sale, with Ticketmaster Italy on the Friday. Each of these choices was made by the local promoter and seller, not by the band, which explains why the pattern changes at every border.
The lesson is that a European tour is a patchwork. The same tour contains countries with a full ladder of windows and countries with almost none, and you cannot assume the next border behaves like the last. The German dates in Cologne, Hannover, Stuttgart and Munich, the Dutch show at the Ziggo Dome, and the Nordic arenas in Helsinki, Oslo, Gothenburg and Copenhagen all have their own habits and their own ticket sellers. Our German presale page and the page on Mastercard windows explain the differences in more detail. If you plan to travel for a show, compare two or three cities before you commit, because their rules and prices can differ.

What to do now that the Nickelback presale has finished
For most buyers the practical question today is what happens next. General sale opened on 16 October 2026, so the main release is complete, but arena tours routinely release further seats close to the show, as production holds are cleared and returned allocations go back on sale. Those releases rarely come with an announcement, and they usually appear at a normal ticket price through the original seller. Checking the venue box office and the original seller around show week costs nothing and sometimes pays off. Production holds, camera positions and sound-desk areas are sometimes cleared in the final days. Treat such releases as a bonus rather than a plan, and keep a note of the price you are willing to pay.
It also helps to know your country's resale conditions before you consider buying from another fan. Some markets require a name on the ticket, others cap the resale price at face value, and others leave it to the platform. Our page on resale rules by country sets out the differences in neutral terms. If extra dates are added, as happens on many strong 2026 and 2027 tours, expect a fresh and much shorter presale, so use the alert form on this page to be told when and where it opens. Plan for the possibility that a re-sale ticket costs more or less than the face value, depending on demand.
Building a Nickelback presale routine for added dates
The best preparation is dull but effective. Create your Ticketmaster account well before any announcement and confirm your payment card and address, because the cart timer in a busy queue is short. Sign up to the band's mailing list in the country where you want to see them, since artist windows are often region-specific. Keep your phone charged and your browser signed in, and use one device only so the queue position is not reset by a second login. A tidy checklist the night before, covering account, card, device and time zone, removes most of the avoidable mistakes. Treat it like packing for a flight: the work is boring, but it prevents the one mistake that costs you the seat.
Know in advance how many tickets you will accept. The common limit on an arena show is around four per account, and splitting a group across several accounts can cause problems if names or cards do not match. Decide your price ceiling before the sale begins, not during it, and be ready to take a slightly worse seat rather than lose the lot. Finally, remember that we do not publish access codes; the alert emails on this site tell you when and where the official window opens, nothing more. It is better to buy fewer tickets in one clean transaction than to try for a larger group and lose everything.

Nickelback presale FAQ
Fans ask the same handful of questions every time an arena tour goes on sale, and the answers below reflect the October 2026 sale rather than hypothetical rules. They are written for a reader who has either just missed a window or is trying to prepare for a future one. Where a detail depends on your country, the answer says so, and where we have no confirmed information, we say that too. If your question is not here, the general presale FAQ covers the wider mechanics of queues, cards and refunds in more depth. The questions below are the ones we hear most often after a Nickelback sale, and each answer is kept deliberately plain. Answers can change when a promoter updates a country's rules, so treat them as a snapshot of the October 2026 sale.
Is the Nickelback presale still open for the 2027 tour?
For the dates in our records, the artist and partner windows closed between 13 and 15 October 2026, and general sale began on Friday 16 October at 10am local time. That means the standard Nickelback presale is finished for the dates announced so far. What remains possible is a later release of extra seats, or a new presale if more shows are added. The alert form on this page is the simplest way to hear about either, because those releases are usually short, quiet and unannounced, and a fan who checks only occasionally will often miss them completely. Added shows, if any, tend to be announced with just a few days' notice, so keep your account details current. If you are travelling from abroad, check which country's seller you are buying from, since currency, fees and delivery options can vary.
Which Nickelback presale gave the best chance in the UK and Ireland?
The artist presale opened first, on Tuesday 13 October 2026, and it was the earliest route to the best seats. The O2 Priority, OVO and Co-op windows came on 14 October, followed by Live Nation on 15 October. Because the windows overlapped on an open ladder, the earliest eligible one was the best option, but missing it did not close the door. Many buyers were successful in a later window with a smaller and quieter queue, particularly for the mid-week dates, so it was worth trying every route you qualified for. It also helped to have a backup plan, such as a second city on the same weekend, if the first-choice date queue became too long. In the United States and Canada the corresponding order was artist first, then Live Nation and Spotify, then the public.
Do I need a code for the Nickelback presale?
Presale access normally comes from the channel that runs the window: the band's sign-up, a card issuer, a mobile operator, Spotify or the promoter. We do not publish or sell codes and we cannot guarantee access. What we can do is tell you which window opens and at what local time. Treat any message that offers a code in exchange for payment with caution and use only the official route for the seller. If you are on the right list, the official email or app notification will arrive before the window opens, and it will not ask you for money. Genuine emails always come from the seller's own address and never ask for payment details by message or chat. Keep your own account details up to date, since many windows verify a name or an email before they open the queue to you.
Are Nickelback tickets named or resellable?
That depends on the country and the arena. Some markets allow transfer through the original ticket seller, and some set limits on the price. Others leave the rules to the platform. Check the terms on your own ticket and on the event page before you buy, and read our resale rules guide for the neutral summary of each country's approach to transfers, refunds and name changes. If you cannot attend, the safest first step is always to look for an official transfer or return option offered by the seller you bought from. Terms can be updated before the show, so look at them again in the week of the concert. Group bookings are the most likely to run into name-matching problems, so decide who is attending before you check out.
What time zone does the Nickelback presale use?
Every window we recorded used 10am local time for the venue's country, so Chicago opened at 10am Central and Helsinki at 10am Finnish time. That means two fans in different cities may open their queues many hours apart on the same day. Always convert from the venue's own time rather than the time quoted by a friend in a different zone, and remember that clocks in Europe and North America change on different dates in autumn, which has caught people out in the past. Setting two alarms, one for fifteen minutes before and one at the start, is a simple habit that helps. The same rule applies to general sale, which opened at 10am on Friday 16 October in each venue's own time zone.
