Artist presale guide
U2 Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country
The U2 presale for The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour is, for the first leg, a story that unfolded in a single week in October 2026. The band announced a run of stadium concerts in Latin America for February and March 2027, with Mexico City, São Paulo and Buenos Aires as the opening cities, and our data records an artist presale in Mexico City on Thursday 22 October at 10am local time, with sign-ups open beforehand, and a general sale in São Paulo on the same day at 10am, online. Press coverage also describes two subscriber presale stages, called Feedback and The Hype, on 19 and 20 October, and says that each city has two nights, so there may be six dates rather than the three in our data.
Because the first leg is Latin American, this guide is a country-by-country reading of how a stadium presale works in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, and a plain statement of what is not yet known for the rest of the world. No European or North American date has been confirmed in our sources, although the announcement reportedly says that more dates will follow. We therefore describe how the Latin American markets operate, what the band's own membership tiers mean, and what a fan elsewhere should prepare now. Use the alert form on this page to be told when any further date appears.

How the U2 presale was layered for the first stadiums
The first layer was a subscriber presale tied to the band's own fan membership. Reports name two stages, a presale for the subscription tier known as Feedback on 19 October and one for The Hype on 20 October, with both closing on the evening of 21 October, ahead of the public sale on 22 October. That makes three steps in four days: a membership window, a second membership window and the general sale. The sources we saw disagree slightly on which general sale date applies to which city, with one giving Mexico City a day later than the other two, so the exact sequence should be checked on the band's official page. What matters for the reader is the principle. Membership windows reward fans who joined before the announcement, and joining afterwards usually does not help for the first windows. The type is what we call a fan club presale, and it differs from an open artist sign-up list because it depends on a prior paid or registered status. Read our fan club presale guide for the way these windows are normally structured, and our artist presale guide for the open sign-up variety, which is what our Mexico record describes.

Mexico City: the artist U2 presale and the preventa culture
Estadio GNP Seguros is the Mexican venue, with a date on 23 February 2027 in our data and press coverage mentioning a second night. The Mexico record says that an artist presale took place on Thursday 22 October at 10am Mexico City time, that sign-ups were open before it, and that the general sale date is still to be announced. In Mexico the word for early sale is preventa, and the market is famous for its bank presales, in which cardholders of particular banks get a window before the public, as well as for the virtual queue known as the fila virtual. Ticketing in Mexico is dominated by Ticketmaster México, and large stadium events usually rely on its waiting room, with fans admitted in random order. Prices are quoted in pesos, and service charges can be significant. Because our record does not list a bank presale for these dates, we do not claim one. Read the Mexican presale guide, which explains preventa bancaria, the queue and the rules on ticket limits, and be cautious about any site that sells access to a queue, since official access is free.
Fans should also think about the climate: February in Mexico City is dry and mild, March in São Paulo can bring heavy evening rain, and late March in Buenos Aires is warm. Stadium floors are often uncovered, and the rules on umbrellas, bags and bottles vary by venue, so read the list of permitted items on the organiser's page. Arrive early, because security checks at large stadiums can take a long time, and the best standing positions are filled in the early afternoon by fans who queue for hours. Keep a copy of the sale terms for the day of the show, in case of a dispute at the gate.

Brazil: São Paulo and the U2 presale rules for stadium shows
The Brazilian date is at Estádio MorumBIS, also known as the Morumbi, on 10 March 2027, with a second night reported for 12 March. Our record says that the general sale opened on Thursday 22 October at 10am, online, and it lists no presale for Brazil, though the press describes the band's membership windows as global. In Brazil, an early sale is called pré-venda, and a stadium sale often has several layers: card issuers, the promoter's own list and the artist's club. The main platform is Ticketmaster Brasil, working with the promoter, and there are also physical sales points for some shows. Brazil has a legal feature that surprises visitors: meia-entrada, a half-price entitlement for students, people over 60, people with disabilities and some other groups, which stadium concerts must honour for part of the capacity. Those tickets require proof, and they are sold in a separate allocation. Read the Brazilian presale guide for the details, and check the sale page for the proof required, since a ticket bought without the documents can be refused at the gate.
A word on safety and practicalities for visitors: large Latin American stadium events are well organised, but fans from abroad should plan arrival times, transport to the stadium and the route back with care. Public transport may run late on show nights, official ride services can be crowded after the concert, and some stadium areas have separate gates for field and stands. Read the entrance information published by the organiser a few days before, carry a copy of your passport if the ticket is nominative, and keep a charged phone with the ticket saved offline. These precautions are routine, and they make the evening far less stressful.

Argentina: Buenos Aires at River Plate and the U2 presale
The third stop is Buenos Aires, at the Estadio River Plate, known as the Monumental, on 23 March 2027 in our data, with a second night reported for 25 March. We have no separate sale record for Argentina, and the press says that general sales for São Paulo and Buenos Aires were scheduled for 22 October at 10am local time. We treat that as likely, not confirmed. Argentine stadium sales have their own platforms and habits, and the promoter usually announces a bank window, which is the closest local equivalent to a card presale, as well as the public sale. Argentina does not have a page in our country list, so we cannot link a detailed guide, but the principles are close to Mexico's: preventa for the early window, a virtual queue, high demand and a sharp difference between field and stands. Fans travelling from Chile, Uruguay or Brazil should check the currency and the payment methods accepted, since some platforms limit foreign cards. The exchange rate can change the real price quickly, so compare the total at the time of purchase, not an earlier figure.
Europe and North America: what the U2 presale means for unannounced dates
Our data contains no European or North American dates, and we do not invent any. The coverage we saw says that further dates are expected to follow in the weeks after the announcement, and that Ireland in particular has been mentioned as a possible return, but nothing is available to book. If and when dates appear, the likely pattern is a sequence similar to the Latin American one: a fan club or subscriber window first, an artist sign-up or ticketing platform window next, and a general sale a few days later. This is a pattern, not a prediction. What a fan can do now is prepare. Check whether you hold the band's membership and when it started, because windows tied to membership often depend on joining before the announcement. Create an account on the main ticketing platform in your country, save your payment details, and decide how many tickets you need. Our presale queue guide explains waiting rooms. Use the alert form on this page, since we will report the day and platform of any new sale, never an access word.
Stadium prices and the U2 presale: dynamic pricing and fees
One lesson from recent stadium tours is that the price shown at the start of a sale is not always the price at the end. Some platforms use dynamic pricing, in which tickets in demand are priced higher while the sale is running, and others hold prices fixed within a category. The press mentions prices from a secondary source in pounds for the Brazilian shows, but we have not verified them and do not repeat them. The correct figure is the one on the official sale page at the time you buy, including fees and taxes. Compare the total, not the headline price. In Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, taxes and service charges are often added at the last step, and a currency conversion by your bank can add a further percentage. If you plan to travel from Europe, do the full calculation including flights and hotels before you commit. Read our dynamic pricing guide for the way these systems work and the resale rules guide for what each country allows if you cannot attend.

U2 presale FAQ
These are the questions fans ask most about the U2 presale for The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour. The answers follow our sale information, which records an artist presale in Mexico City on 22 October 2026 and a general sale in São Paulo on the same day, together with press reports of membership windows and a second night in each city. They are careful about what is not yet announced. The answers avoid anything not yet announced, and the final word always belongs to the seller's page and the band's official site. Treat each reply as a starting point for your own checks. Dates in this part of the world can move.
Is the U2 presale still open?
For the Latin American stadiums, the membership and artist presales have ended, and the general sale opened on or around 22 October 2026. Tickets that remain come from general sale, returns and later releases. For Europe and North America, there is no presale because no date has been announced. If one appears, we will report the platform and local time. If you missed the first windows, check the platform again at different times of the day, because stadiums release returned tickets and extra seats as the stage design is fixed. Joining the band's list or the platform's alert for your city gives an earlier warning than refreshing the page by hand.
Which cities are in the U2 presale for 2027?
Our data lists Mexico City on 23 February, São Paulo on 10 March and Buenos Aires on 23 March 2027. Press coverage describes two nights in each city, which would make six dates, with Beck as the opening act. We list only what our data confirms, and we recommend checking the band's official page for the full schedule. If you are planning around the second night in a city, check the dates on the official page, because the sources we saw give them for the press but our data lists only the first night. Two nights per city also mean that a sold-out first night can be followed by a second night with some availability.
Do I need a membership for the U2 presale?
For the first windows, yes: press reports describe presales for the Feedback and The Hype subscriber tiers on 19 and 20 October. Joining afterwards does not open those windows. The Mexican artist presale described in our data was open through sign-up. For future dates, a membership may again be useful, but nothing is confirmed. Membership benefits differ by tier and by country, and they are set by the band's team. If you are considering joining now in the hope of future dates, read the current terms first, because they say what is included and for how long, and no one can promise a window that has not been announced.
Can I buy U2 presale tickets from Europe?
Yes, if the platform accepts your card and the sale is open to foreign buyers, which is normal for stadium shows. Check the payment methods and the fees on the sale page, and convert prices to your own currency before you commit. Remember that a trip involves flights, hotels and visas, so buy tickets only when you are sure you can travel. Also check whether your own bank blocks purchases abroad, and tell it about the trip beforehand. Declined payments at the moment of a queue are among the most common reasons fans lose tickets, and they are easy to avoid with a quick call or a settings change in the banking app.
