Hans Zimmer Presale 2027: How to Get Tickets, Country by Country

How the Hans Zimmer presale opened with American Express and the artist list

Our New York and Vancouver records both show the same opening: a presale on 23 and 24 September 2026 for American Express card members and for the artist's list. The two windows ran in parallel, and general sale followed on Friday 25 September at 10am local time through Ticketmaster. The sale note for the United States and Canada adds only that pre-sales came first and general sale followed. The Amex window is open to holders of the card who receive access through their account, usually as a link or a code in the cardholder's own online profile. It cannot be shared, and the purchase has to be made with the same card. The artist list is open to anyone who registered by the deadline. Our guides to Amex presales and artist presales explain the mechanics, and the US presale guide describes the queue, the limits and the usual cart timer.

Hans Zimmer presale in the United States: thirty arenas, one template

The American leg crosses the whole country, from Hartford, Belmont Park, Newark, Philadelphia and Boston in February, to Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati and Charlotte in March and beyond. Our records show a single template for the sale, so a fan in any city had the same sequence of windows. There is no sign of a different system in a particular state, which keeps things simple. What changes is the size and shape of the arena. In practice, that means a fan in Hartford and a fan in Charlotte faced the same two-day presale and the same Friday morning, and the main difference between them was the building.

For a film-music show, the arena is usually set up with a stage at one end and a large screen above it. Seats at the sides may have restricted views of the screen, and the sale page often warns about this. If you are buying for a family, compare the sections carefully, since a cheaper seat with a poor angle on a screen is a poorer deal than it looks. The US calendar page shows how American on-sales are timed across the year, and the dynamic pricing guide describes how prices can differ. Check the sound and view notes on the seller's page for the section you like before you pay.

Canada and the Hans Zimmer presale: Ottawa, Quebec City, Hamilton and Vancouver

Canada has four dates, and our Vancouver record shows the same Amex and artist presale on 23 and 24 September and general sale on 25 September. The shows are at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City, the TD Coliseum in Hamilton and Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Canadian sales are run through Ticketmaster Canada, and a card from a Canadian bank needs to be enabled for online use. The Quebec City date has a language dimension. The sale page and the customer service may be offered in French, and the audience is largely French-speaking, so a fan who prefers French should look for that option. Ottawa and Hamilton are within reach of larger cities, and a fan from Toronto or Montreal may find them easier than a major city's queue. Our Canadian presale guide covers the details, and the calendar for Canada shows the other on-sales in the same weeks.

First-time buyers and the Hans Zimmer presale queue

Many people who attend this tour will not have used a ticket queue before. A queue is a waiting room: when a sale opens, you are placed in line and then allowed into the shop in turn. You will see a message or a timer, and you should not refresh, because refreshing can send you to the back. When it is your turn, you have a few minutes to choose your seats and pay. To prepare, create an account with the seller in advance, save a payment card and check that your address is right. Decide how many tickets you need. Open the seat map earlier in the week so that you understand the layout. On the day, use a single device and a reliable connection. Our queue guide explains the system, and the day checklist gives an hour-by-hour plan. A calm approach beats a fast one, and the main reason people lose a seat is panic.

Seats, screens and accessibility for a Hans Zimmer presale ticket

A show built around a screen and a large sound system has special seating questions. Sound is usually good throughout an arena, but the view varies. Floor seats near the front can be too close to the stage to see the screen well, while seats in the middle of the lower bowl may offer the best balance. Upper tiers have a distant view but are cheaper. The seat map on the seller's page will show the section names, and the description usually includes notes about restricted views. Accessibility is an important consideration for a family audience. Arenas have wheelchair spaces, companion seats and quiet areas, and they are booked through a separate process or a dedicated seller line. Ask the venue early, as numbers are limited. If you need a hearing loop or similar support, ask the venue directly. Ticket terms for children differ between venues, with some requiring a ticket for every attendee and others offering family tiers. Read the terms on the seller's page before you pay.

After the Hans Zimmer presale: returns, resale and added dates

By late October 2026 the main sales have finished, and the realistic options are returns, release of held seats and any new date. For a tour of this length, there is a good chance that some arenas still have seats, particularly for weekday shows. Check the seller's page for your city at different times of day, and consider a nearby city as an alternative. If you consider buying from another fan, read the rules for your country first. In the United States, resale is generally allowed, though some states have specific rules, and in Canada the position varies by province. Our resale rules page sets out the differences in neutral terms. We do not publish presale codes. The alerts we send give the date, the local time and the platform for any new window, and you can ask for them with the form on this page.

Planning a trip around a Hans Zimmer presale city

Many fans of this show will travel, particularly in the American Northeast, where Hartford, Belmont Park, Newark, Philadelphia and Boston fall within a week of each other in February 2027. A fan from New York can reach most of them by train or car, and the choice often comes down to the day of the week and the cost of the seat. In the Midwest and South, the distances are larger, and a hotel is more likely to be part of the plan. When you compare cities, add up the whole cost: the ticket, the booking fees, parking or transport and a place to stay. A smaller city can be cheaper in all of these. Check the start time as well, since arena shows with a long running time may finish late, and public transport may stop earlier than you expect. Book flexible travel until you hold the tickets, and keep a copy of your order. Canada adds the border. If you are an American fan crossing to Vancouver or Ottawa, check passport rules and the currency of your ticket, and use a card that does not charge high foreign transaction fees. A Canadian fan crossing into the United States for a show should do the same in reverse. Both countries use similar sellers, so the process is familiar, but the taxes and the delivery rules are not identical.

Hans Zimmer presale FAQ

Because this is a show with a broad audience, many of the questions come from people who do not follow ticketing closely. The replies below are drawn from the September 2026 records we hold, and gaps in them are stated openly. For rules that apply to every artist, such as how queues work and what refund rights apply, our general presale FAQ goes into more depth. Treat these as a snapshot, and check the seller's page for your date before you act. For that reason we have avoided jargon and explained each term when it first appears. If a word is still unfamiliar, the presale glossary on this site defines it in plain English.

When was the Hans Zimmer presale for North America?

The presale took place on 23 and 24 September 2026 for American Express card members and for the artist's list, and general sale opened on Friday 25 September at 10am local time through Ticketmaster. The sale applied to the American and Canadian dates, and the windows are now closed. If you are still looking, check the seller's page for returns, and use the alert form on this page if you want to hear about added dates. If you missed it, the practical options are the seller's returned stock, which often appears midweek, and the release of held seats close to the show. A nearby city can also be a good alternative if your first choice is sold out.

Do I need an American Express card for the Hans Zimmer presale?

Only for the Amex window. The artist list was a separate window, open to anyone who had registered, and general sale was open to everyone. Both Amex and artist windows ran at the same time on 23 and 24 September 2026. The windows are now closed, so the card is no longer needed unless a new date is added with a card window. If you do hold an eligible card, the access details normally appear in the card's online account or in an email from the issuer. Check the terms, since some windows apply to specific card types, and the number of tickets can be limited.

Do I need a code for the Hans Zimmer presale?

Nothing from us is required for Hans Zimmer access; this site publishes no codes. Access comes from the card issuer or the artist's list. Be cautious if anyone offers a code for payment, and use the seller's own page. If you receive a message that claims to offer guaranteed seats for a fee, treat it with caution. The only reliable route is the seller's page, reached from the venue or the artist's own pages, and your confirmation email should come from the seller. If you hold an Amex card, the issuer's own portal is where a window of that kind is usually announced, and the artist list is reached through the artist's own pages.

Where is the Hans Zimmer tour in Canada?

In Ottawa on 26 February, Quebec City on 28 February, Hamilton on 2 March and Vancouver on 8 April 2027. The Canadian dates were sold in the same September sale as the American ones, through Ticketmaster Canada, with the Amex and artist presale on 23 and 24 September and general sale on 25 September at 10am local time. Check the seller's page for your city if you are looking for tickets now. Ottawa and Hamilton both sit within a few hours of larger cities, so fans from Toronto or Montreal can choose between a bigger queue and a smaller room. Check the seller's page for each date and compare the final price including fees.
