Italian Presale Calendar 2027: Tour On-Sales
On Friday 23 October 2026, three different tours released Italian tickets on the same morning: Sting's STING 3.0 Tour with dates in Asti, Rome and Verona in early July 2027, Damien Rice's « O » 25th Anniversary Tour in Rome on 4 April 2027, and Dominic Fike in Milan on 15 February 2027. That single day is a fair summary of this Italian presale calendar. It shows the weight of Friday releases, the pull of Milan and Rome, and the way summer shows in historic towns sit alongside winter club dates on the same sale day. The table on this page lists the 31 tours and 52 Italian dates currently confirmed for 2027 in our dataset, sorted by sale date and labelled with a status. The notes below explain how to read it and what the data shows about Italian on-sales. Rules on named tickets and the main sellers are covered at length in our Italy presale guide.
Italy is a market where buying the ticket is only half of the preparation. Since 2019, tickets for large events in venues with a capacity above 5,000 have had to carry the holder's name, with identity checks possible at the entrance, and changing that name later is normally done through the official seller's own procedure. That makes the Italian sale day a little more demanding than elsewhere: you need to know whose names will go on the tickets, and you need those details to hand when you check out. It also explains why Italian fans tend to plan a group purchase more carefully than fans in markets where a ticket can simply be forwarded. Combine that with the usual European pattern of same-day presales and general sales, and the value of a calendar becomes clear. Knowing which Friday matters, and getting the details sorted in advance, is most of the work. The sections below take the Italian data apart from the cities outward.

Milan and Rome anchor the Italian presale calendar
Milan leads the Italian table with 25 dates, almost double Rome's 13. After them come Lucca and Bari with two each, and Este, Bologna, Venice and Asti with one each. Milan's lead is a familiar pattern for international touring: it is Italy's main arena and club market and the natural stop for a tour coming in from Zurich, Munich or Paris. Most of the winter acts in our data play Milan only, including aespa on 29 January 2027, Bullet For My Valentine on 25 January, Nothing But Thieves on 24 January, Ayra Starr on 27 January and Royal Blood on 5 March. Rome tends to appear either in summer or for acts with a broader audience: Harry Styles has two Rome dates on 7 and 8 August 2027, and Damien Rice has chosen Rome over Milan. A few tours play both, such as Hayley Williams on 7 and 8 June and Fontaines D.C. on 18 and 19 June. For a fan in the south, the absence of Naples or Palermo so far is notable.
If you live in Milan or Rome, the practical advice is to set alerts for both cities rather than just your own, because whether a tour chooses one or the other is hard to predict. If you live elsewhere, look carefully at the summer rows, which is where Italy's smaller cities enter the picture. Simple Minds' Bologna date on 16 April 2027 is the main non-summer exception in our table. Otherwise, Lucca, Bari, Este, Venice and Asti all appear in July or late June, as part of tours that use historic squares, open-air arenas and seasonal stages. Those dates are often sold through a combination of national ticketing companies and local organisers, and they can attract visitors from abroad who combine a concert with a holiday. That means demand can be higher than the size of the town suggests. Check the row for the seller named in the announcement and be ready for the same Friday rhythm as the big-city dates.

Summer towns on the Italian presale calendar
July 2027 is the busiest month in the Italian table with seven entries, followed by April and June with six each, January and February with four each, May with two and March and August with one each. July's prominence comes mostly from tours built around Italy's summer outdoor circuit. Sting plays Asti, Rome and Verona between 2 and 6 July. Take That's Dreamers European Tour visits Este, Lucca and Rome from 18 to 20 July. Simply Red's Summer Funk '27 has four Italian dates between 25 June and 30 July in Bari, Lucca, Rome and Venice. Karol G plays Milan on 24 July and Sombr on 14 July. This is a distinctively Italian shape: in many other countries the summer leg is dominated by stadiums, while in Italy a large share of summer touring happens in mid-sized open-air settings spread across the country. More summer dates for 2027 are expected to be announced over the winter, including stadium shows and festival appearances, so treat today's list as a first draft.
Planning around Italian presale calendar summer dates
Summer dates in smaller Italian towns raise practical questions that a Milan arena date does not. Accommodation can be scarce and expensive on concert nights, especially in places that are already busy with tourism in July, and public transport after a late show may be limited. If you are travelling, it can be sensible to check accommodation availability before the ticket sale and to book refundable options, then confirm once you have tickets. On the ticketing side, the summer sales in our data followed the same weekday rhythm as the rest of the table: Sting, Take That and Simply Red all went on sale on a Friday, with presale and general sale on the same day. That leaves little room to coordinate a group purchase on the morning itself, so agree in advance who is buying, how many tickets and in which price category. Our alerts cover added summer dates too, which in Italy are often released weeks after the original announcement.

Weekday habits in the Italian presale calendar
Of the 25 Italian tours with a recorded general sale date, 19 opened on a Friday, three on a Wednesday and two on a Thursday. Presales were similar: 14 on Fridays, four on Thursdays and three on Wednesdays. The median gap between the first presale and the general sale is zero days, so a typical Italian presale opens on the same morning as the general sale. Some tours still used a meaningful window. ENHYPEN's Milan date had an artist and Live Nation presale on Thursday 23 April 2026 and a general sale on Friday 24 April. Fontaines D.C. followed a Thursday-Friday pairing, and Nickelback, Ayra Starr, Royal Blood and Bullet For My Valentine used two- or three-day gaps. Hayley Williams went further, with a presale on Friday 4 September and a general sale on Tuesday 8 September, a four-day gap that included a weekend. Those differences matter, because a longer window changes how much of the allocation is gone before the public sale begins.
Same-morning sales on the Italian presale calendar
When the presale and the general sale happen on the same day, the presale is essentially a head start measured in hours. The practical effect is that you should prepare for both windows at once: be eligible for the presale if you can, but be ready to move straight into the general sale if the presale allocation runs out. That means being logged in to the right account, having names ready for the tickets and keeping your payment card to hand from the start of the first window to the end of the second. Thirty Seconds To Mars, aespa, Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, Passenger, Sting and Damien Rice are among the tours in our table whose Italian presale and general sale fell on the same day. For these, the Italian sale morning effectively becomes one long event. Having a clear plan for which windows you can use, and what you will do if the first one fails, is the difference between a calm morning and a frantic one.

Named tickets and the Italian presale calendar
The named-ticket rule for large venues shapes how you should use this table. For events in venues holding more than 5,000 people, the ticket carries the holder's name and organisers may check identity at the entrance. In practice, that means the names you enter at checkout matter. If you are buying for friends, have their full names, spelt as on their identity documents, ready before the sale. If plans change later, the official seller usually offers a change-of-name procedure, sometimes with a fee and a deadline, and the conditions are set in each event's terms. Smaller venues below the threshold are not subject to the same requirement, which is why a Milan club show and a Milan arena show can behave differently. Because the rule depends on venue capacity rather than on the artist, our table does not try to label every row; check the event terms on the official seller. Our presale glossary explains the related terms, and the Italy guide covers the rules in more depth.
Lead times behind the Italian presale calendar
The median time from general sale to first show in our Italian data is 252 days, a little over eight months. Some tours sold much earlier: Thirty Seconds To Mars put their Milan date of 11 April 2027 on sale in April 2026, almost a year ahead, and Karol G released Milan's 24 July 2027 date at the end of April 2026, roughly fifteen months ahead. Others are shorter, like Bullet For My Valentine, whose Milan show on 25 January 2027 went on sale on 30 September 2026, or Ayra Starr, whose Milan date on 27 January 2027 went on sale on Friday 16 October 2026, barely three months before the show. The spread is wide, which reflects the mix of winter club tours and long-planned summer events. For your budgeting, it means that 2027 concert spending in Italy is happening throughout autumn 2026 and will continue into the winter as summer shows are announced, rather than being concentrated in a single season.
Reading statuses in the Italian presale calendar
Every row in the table carries a status. Presale means an early window has been announced or is open and the general sale has not yet begun. On sale means the general public sale has opened, whatever the remaining availability; we do not track seats, so this is never a promise that tickets are left. TBA means Italian dates are confirmed but no sale time has been published. At the time of writing, all 25 Italian tours with a recorded general sale are on sale, which shows how far ahead Italian dates are released. The rows to watch are those still to come, and the new rows that appear when tours are announced. The 🔔 Alert me button next to each tour subscribes you to updates for that tour only: sale times, presale openings, added dates and status changes. Each email names the official channel running any presale. Codes are never included, because only the issuing fan club, card provider, promoter or platform can give them.
Presale types in the Italian presale calendar
Named presale types are scarce in the Italian rows: one artist presale, one Live Nation presale and one Amex presale. ENHYPEN's Milan date combined the first two, sold through Live Nation and Ticketmaster, while Harry Styles used Amex for his Rome dates, with a Monday 14 September presale and a Wednesday 16 September general sale. Platforms are named for only a handful of rows, with Ticketmaster three times, Live Nation once and See Tickets once. That does not mean other presales did not exist; it means they were not published with enough detail to record. In Italy, many sales are announced through the promoter with a list of authorised outlets, and early access is often offered to newsletter subscribers or fan club members without a formal name. When a presale type is listed, our explainers on the artist presale, the promoter presale and the Amex presale describe the usual eligibility rules in more detail.
Practical timing for the Italian presale calendar
Italy uses Central European Time, switching to summer time from the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of October, so Italian sale times match Paris, Berlin and Madrid and are one hour ahead of London. Prices are in euros, and the amount displayed at the start of checkout may increase once service fees and any delivery charges are added, so compare the final total. Italian sellers commonly limit the number of tickets per order for popular shows, and for named tickets each ticket needs a holder. Before sale day, create or update your account with the seller named in the announcement, check that your personal details match your identity document, save a card that works for online purchases in euros and gather your companions' names. Note the sale time in local time and set two alarms, especially for Friday morning releases. Our presale day checklist sets out a full sale-morning routine you can adapt to Italian sales.

Italian presale calendar FAQ
The questions below are those Italian readers most often ask about the table: how it handles summer tours, why some rows look incomplete, what to do after a sell-out and how to compare Italy with other countries on the same tour. The answers draw on the same dataset used throughout this page, currently 31 tours and 52 Italian dates, and they avoid predicting announcements that have not been made. If your question applies to every country, such as how alerts are delivered, how to change your email address or how to stop following a single tour without affecting the others, the general FAQ covers it. For the resale side of the Italian market, which is shaped by the named-ticket rule and by specific restrictions on reselling above face value, our neutral overview of resale rules explains how Italy compares with other countries and where to look for the official change-of-name option.
Why are some Italian presale calendar rows missing details?
We record a presale, a platform or a sale time only when an official announcement confirms it. Many Italian announcements list a sale date and a set of authorised outlets in the body text without naming a presale, and some rows therefore have empty fields. Leaving them blank is deliberate: a guessed seller or time could send you to the wrong place on a morning when minutes matter. Of the 31 Italian tours in our table, 25 have a recorded general sale, and named presale types appear for only three of them. That pattern partly reflects how the Italian market communicates and partly reflects tours that went straight to general sale. If a detail matters to you, the promoter's or venue's announcement will normally supply it, and our alerts pass on any extra information as soon as it becomes public, including presales announced later than the original tour news and any extra outlets.
What can I do on the Italian presale calendar after a show sells out?
First, keep your alert active. Italian tours regularly add dates when demand is strong, and those additions are announced on the same row, often with their own Friday sale. Second, watch for releases of held-back tickets, which can appear once a stage plan is finalised; the row stays marked on sale throughout, so the status will not change, but availability might. Third, look at the official change-of-name or fan-to-fan resale option offered by the primary seller, which in Italy is closely tied to the named-ticket system for larger venues. Our page on resale rules sets out the general position. Finally, compare the same tour in neighbouring countries: a sold-out Milan date may still have availability in Zurich, Munich or the south of France, all reachable by train within a few hours. We do not predict extra dates; we report them as soon as they are officially announced by the promoter or seller.
How does the Italian presale calendar compare with Spain and France?
The three markets share the same core rhythm: Friday general sales, same-day presales in the typical case and long lead times. The differences are in the details. Italy's median lead time of 252 days sits between France's 201 days and Spain's 262 days. Italy's Friday share of general sales, 19 of 25, is higher than Spain's but lower than France's. And Italy is the market where named tickets for large venues are a standard part of the process, which adds a preparation step that French and Spanish fans do not always face in the same form. The geography differs too: Italy splits between Milan and Rome with a strong summer circuit in smaller towns, while France concentrates on Paris and Spain divides almost evenly between Madrid and Barcelona. Our calendar hub links to the Spanish and French tables if you want to compare the same tour across the three countries.
