Dutch Presale Calendar 2027: Tour On-Sales

Open this Dutch presale calendar and one thing jumps out before you read a single date: almost everything happens in Amsterdam. Of the 61 Dutch concert dates currently in our 2027 table, 58 are in the capital and three are in Rotterdam, spread across 46 tours. That concentration shapes everything about how tickets are sold in the Netherlands, from the way promoters stack multiple nights on the same venue to the speed at which a single Friday morning can decide who gets in. The table above lists each tour with its sale status and the dates that have been officially announced; the notes on this page explain what those rows mean, which habits keep repeating in the data and how to plan your own sale days around them. Laws, consumer rights and the main ticketing companies are covered separately in our Netherlands presale guide, so here we stay with the calendar.

The Netherlands is a small country with a very large touring footprint. Most international arena and club tours of Europe include at least one Dutch date, partly because the country sits on the natural route between London, Paris, Brussels, Cologne and Hamburg, and partly because Dutch audiences buy early and in volume. For a fan, that is good news and bad news. It means you will rarely be left out of a European routing, but it also means competition for the first release is intense and there is rarely a second city to fall back on. Unlike in Germany or Spain, a sold-out Amsterdam night does not usually come with an alternative date two hours away in another Dutch city. Your fallback is either an extra Amsterdam show, if the promoter adds one, or a trip across the border. Knowing the patterns in this calendar is how you avoid having to rely on either of those.

One city dominates the Dutch presale calendar

With 58 of 61 dates, Amsterdam is not just the leading city in the Dutch table; it effectively is the table. Rotterdam's three dates all belong to one tour, Tame Impala's Deadbeat run, which plays three consecutive nights from 7 to 9 June 2027. Everywhere else, from Utrecht to Eindhoven, is absent from our 2027 data so far. That does not mean those cities will host nothing, because smaller venues and regional promoters announce later and often without international press, but it does mean that the big touring decisions for next year have been made around Amsterdam's arenas, concert halls and clubs. The city has venues at almost every capacity level, which lets a promoter move a show up or down in size without leaving town. When demand is high, the response is usually an extra night rather than a new city, which is why several Amsterdam rows carry two, three or four dates on consecutive evenings.

Multi-night runs in the Dutch presale calendar

Olivia Rodrigo's Unraveled Tour is the clearest example in the table: four Amsterdam shows between 23 and 28 March 2027, all released in one sale on Thursday 7 May 2026. Gracie Abrams has three Amsterdam dates from 7 to 10 May 2027, and Teddy Swims has three from 16 to 18 March. Others have two, including Nothing But Thieves in January, Simple Minds across 30 April and 1 May, Sombr at the turn of May and June, and Simply Red on 19 and 20 June. In practice, multi-night runs are often built up rather than announced in one go: a single date sells out, a second is added, and so on. When you see a row with several dates, it is worth asking whether they all went on sale at once or whether later nights were released afterwards, because that tells you how a promoter tends to react to demand. Our alerts flag added nights the moment they are published.

Weekday habits in the Dutch presale calendar

Dutch general sales are even more Friday-focused than German ones. Of the 39 tours with a recorded general sale date, 33 opened on a Friday, three on a Wednesday and two on a Thursday. RUSH, Thirty Seconds To Mars, ENHYPEN, Megadeth, Weezer, Passenger, Take That and Simply Red all followed the Friday template. Presales tell a slightly different story: 21 on Fridays, nine on Wednesdays and four on Tuesdays. That Tuesday group is distinctive. It typically marks a tour where a fan club or partner presale opened earlier in the week, ahead of a Friday release. Hayley Williams' Amsterdam show is a simple illustration, with presale and general sale on Tuesday 8 September 2026, while Charli XCX's Music, Fashion, Film Tour used a Wednesday presale on 16 September followed by a Friday general sale on 18 September. For planning purposes, think of the Dutch week as having two danger zones: Tuesday to Wednesday for early windows, and Friday morning for the public release.

A zero-day median gap on the Dutch presale calendar

The median gap between the first presale and the general sale in our Dutch data is zero days. That means the typical presale opens on the same day as the general sale, often a few hours earlier, rather than days ahead. For fans this changes the value of a presale. It is less about having days of exclusive access and more about getting a head start of an hour or two on the same morning, which can be decisive for a popular show but leaves no time to reorganise. If you are eligible for a presale, you should still treat the general sale as starting almost immediately afterwards, and plan to be ready for both. Tame Impala's Rotterdam dates were one of the exceptions, with a Wednesday 26 August presale and a Friday 28 August general sale, a two-day gap that gave early buyers a real window. Watch for exactly this kind of difference in each row before sale week begins.

Reading statuses in the Dutch presale calendar

Every row carries one of three statuses. Presale means an early window is announced or open and the general sale has not yet begun. On sale means the general public sale has started; it says nothing about how many tickets remain. TBA means dates are confirmed but no sale time has been published. At the time of writing, nearly every Dutch row is already on sale, which reflects how early Amsterdam tickets are released: 39 of 46 tours have a general sale date in the past. The rows still waiting are the ones to watch, because their sale will be announced with little warning. Next to each tour, the πŸ”” Alert me button signs you up for updates on that tour alone. You will get an email when a sale is scheduled, a presale opens, a date is added or a status changes. The alert explains which official channel runs each window; it never includes access codes, which are issued only by those channels.

Empty fields in the Dutch presale calendar

Some Dutch rows show no presale type or no ticketing platform, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. We fill a field only when an official announcement confirmed it. Jorja Smith's Amsterdam date on 26 May 2027, for example, has a general sale on 28 August 2026 but no recorded presale, so the presale column stays blank. Likewise, only a handful of Dutch rows name a ticketing company, with Ticketmaster mentioned four times and Live Nation once. Many Dutch announcements simply point to the venue or promoter without naming a platform in the headline, and we prefer leaving a gap to guessing. If a field matters to you, the announcement linked to by the promoter or the venue will normally specify it. Our presale glossary explains the meaning of terms such as allocation, venue presale and general sale if any of them are unfamiliar, and the definitions apply to all our country calendars.

Months that fill the Dutch presale calendar

When do the Dutch shows themselves take place? The answer is surprisingly front-loaded. February 2027 is the busiest month in the table with 12 entries, followed by March with eight and June with eight, then May with seven. January and April have four each and July two, with a single entry already in November 2027. February's peak is made up of indoor tours that fit neatly into the winter arena season: RUSH on 23 February, Charli XCX on 22 February, James Blunt on 20 February, JPEGMAFIA on 19 February, Cage The Elephant on 15 February and Five Finger Death Punch on 7 February, among others. The summer in our data is thinner than you might expect, but that reflects what has been confirmed so far. Large outdoor shows and festival headliners for summer 2027 are expected to be announced over the coming months, and Dutch festival sales usually follow their own schedule. Treat July and August as not yet written.

That gap between a busy winter and a quieter-looking summer is a recurring trap for fans. It is easy to conclude that there is nothing worth watching for June, July or August 2027 and switch off, only to find that a stadium tour or an open-air series appears with a sale a week later. In the Netherlands, big open-air shows are traditionally announced in autumn and winter for the following summer, and when they come they tend to sell fast because there is limited choice of venue at that scale. The sensible approach is to set alerts for artists you would see in a large outdoor venue even if no tour exists yet. Our alerts cover announcements as well as sales, so you will hear about a new Dutch date as soon as it is confirmed, not just when it goes on sale. That early notice is often the difference between registering for a presale in time and missing the cut-off.

Presale types recorded in the Dutch presale calendar

Where the Dutch table records a presale type, artist or fan club presales are the most frequent with three tours, followed by one Live Nation presale, one venue presale and one Mastercard presale. That mix is typical of the Netherlands. There is no dominant card or mobile-network programme of the kind British fans know, and venue-run early access is part of the picture because Dutch venues are often active sellers with their own audiences and newsletters. Artist presales usually require joining a mailing list or fan club before a deadline. Venue presales generally go to the venue's subscribers. Card presales such as Mastercard's work only when the card is used to pay. If you want detail on how each format works in general, see our explainers on the artist presale, the venue presale and the Mastercard presale. The point here is to check which one applies before sale week.

Preparing for a Dutch presale calendar window

Once you know which type of presale a row uses, the preparation is straightforward. Join the relevant list before the deadline, which for artist presales can be several days before the sale itself. Make sure the email address you register with is the one you check on sale morning. Log in to the ticketing account the day before and confirm your payment details, because many Dutch fans pay with iDEAL or a bank card and a failed payment at checkout can cost you your place. Note the local start time in Central European Time and set two alarms. Decide in advance how many tickets you want and what price category you will accept, since the Dutch sales in our data are often decided within minutes. If you hold a presale link, open it a little before the start time; if you do not, be ready for the general sale that, on the evidence of this table, will probably follow on the same day.

Lead times on the Dutch presale calendar

The median lead time from general sale to first concert in our Dutch data is 229 days, or about seven and a half months. Some tours went on sale far earlier than that. RUSH's Amsterdam date on 23 February 2027 went on sale on Friday 27 February 2026, almost exactly a year ahead, and Thirty Seconds To Mars sold their 25 April 2027 Amsterdam show in April 2026. Others are tighter, such as Nothing But Thieves, whose sale on 5 June 2026 was about seven months before their January 2027 shows. For your planning, the lesson is that most 2027 Dutch concerts announced so far are already on sale, so the remaining opportunities lie in tours still to be announced, in extra dates added to existing runs and in releases of held-back tickets. Keep an eye on the TBA rows and on alerts for added nights, because that is where the next Dutch sales for 2027 will come from in the coming months.

Dutch presale calendar FAQ

These answers address the questions Dutch readers ask most often about the table: what a status means once a show is sold out, why Amsterdam dominates, how to follow tours that also play neighbouring countries, and whether the patterns described above can be relied on for a specific artist. Every answer is based on the same 2027 dataset quoted throughout this page, which currently holds 46 tours and 61 Dutch dates. Where something depends on an announcement that has not been made yet, we say so plainly. For questions that apply to all markets, such as how alerts are delivered, how frequently they arrive or how to stop following a tour, the general FAQ is the best place to look. And if you prefer a step-by-step routine for the morning of a sale, our presale day checklist sets out the order in which to do things, from logging in to checking out.

Why are there so few cities on the Dutch presale calendar?

Because touring in the Netherlands is built around Amsterdam. The capital has venues covering every scale an international act is likely to need, it is easy to reach from the rest of the country by train, and promoters prefer to add nights in one city rather than split demand. In our 2027 data, 58 of 61 Dutch dates are in Amsterdam and the other three are Tame Impala's run in Rotterdam. Other Dutch cities do host concerts, especially in smaller venues and through regional promoters, but those shows are announced later and are less likely to be part of the international tours tracked here. If you live in the north or south of the country, set alerts anyway: the Dutch table updates as tours are confirmed, and a Rotterdam, Utrecht or Eindhoven date will appear as soon as it is officially announced, with its sale date if one is known.

Is the Friday pattern on the Dutch presale calendar reliable?

It is the strongest pattern in the Dutch data, with 33 of 39 general sales falling on a Friday, but it is still a tendency rather than a rule. A few tours released on Wednesday or Thursday, and global launches sometimes line up every country on the same day regardless of local habits. Presales are more varied, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays used for early windows ahead of a Friday release. The best use of the pattern is defensive: if a tour has been announced and no sale time is out yet, keep Friday morning free and watch for an announcement earlier in the week. Once the official sale time is published, it overrides any pattern, so put that exact time in your diary. The πŸ”” Alert me button for each row is designed for exactly this moment, sending you the announced time as soon as it is confirmed so you do not have to check repeatedly.

What does on sale mean on the Dutch presale calendar for a sold-out show?

The status describes whether the general sale has opened, not whether tickets remain. Once a Dutch tour's general sale has started, the row stays marked on sale, even if the first release went within minutes. That is because more tickets can legitimately appear later: production holds released once the stage design is final, additional seating sections, or an extra night added by the promoter. We do not track seat-by-seat availability, so a status is never a promise that you can still buy. If you missed out, keep your alert active, check the official seller periodically and consider the fan-to-fan resale options that the official seller or the Dutch market provide. For a neutral overview of how resale is handled in the Netherlands and elsewhere, see our page on resale rules, which summarises the position in each country we follow and notes where things are changing or still under debate.

How do I follow a Dutch presale calendar tour that also plays Belgium?

Each country calendar lists only the dates in that country, so a tour with shows in Amsterdam and Antwerp or Brussels will appear here with its Amsterdam date only. Belgian and Dutch shows are often promoted separately and can go on sale at different times, even when they belong to the same European leg. If you are willing to travel a little, set an alert for the tour as a whole rather than for one country, and compare the sale dates across neighbouring calendars. Our calendar hub links to every country table, including Germany and France, both within easy and frequent train distance of Amsterdam. A sold-out Dutch night may still leave seats a short journey away, and the general sale in a neighbouring country might even come a day earlier or later than the Dutch one, giving you a second chance at the same tour without a long or expensive trip.
