How to read the UK presale calendar

Every row in the table carries one status. A label such as "Presale" followed by a weekday and date means an early window is confirmed and still ahead of us; "General sale" with a date means the public release is next and no further presale is pending. "On sale since" tells you the general sale has already happened, so remaining tickets, if any, are available through the normal channels and official resale. "Presale held" appears where we know an early window took place but have no verified general sale date. Finally, "Sale dates not announced" marks tours that are confirmed but whose ticket details have not yet been published. The number of shows is the count of British dates on that tour in our data, and the city list shows up to five of them. Tours that also visit Ireland may have a separate Irish sale; their Dublin or regional dates are listed on the Irish presale calendar rather than here.

Why a UK presale calendar status can change overnight

Status labels reflect the information available when the data was last refreshed, and the British market moves quickly. A tour can be announced on a Monday with a Friday general sale, gain an artist presale on Tuesday evening and an O2 Priority window on Wednesday morning, all within the same week. Extra dates are frequently added once the first shows sell strongly, and those new dates may come with their own sale times. Occasionally a sale is moved, for example to avoid a clash with another major release or because of a technical problem with an agent. For that reason, the calendar is best used as an early warning rather than as the final word. When a row shows an upcoming window, confirm the details on the official announcement and the agent's event page the day before. If a row says sale dates are not announced, it simply means nothing has been published yet; it does not mean tickets will never be released.

The alert does not reserve tickets or guarantee access to any window, and it cannot speed up a queue, but in a market where the whole sequence can last only three days, knowing early is often the difference between being ready and finding out on Friday afternoon.

The weekly pattern behind the UK presale calendar

Look down the dates in the table and a clear weekly rhythm appears. Of the 31 British 2027 tours with a verified presale date, 15 opened their first early window on a Wednesday, seven on a Tuesday and five on a Thursday. General sales are even more uniform: 68 of the 80 dated British public sales fell on a Friday, with a handful on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The median gap between the first presale and the general sale is two days, which is the Wednesday-to-Friday shape you will see on many rows. Some tours stretch that window. Jack Johnson's SURFILMUSIC Tour 2027, with dates in London and St Austell, opened its presale on Monday 19 October 2026 ahead of a Friday 23 October general sale, while Nickelback's British run began with a Tuesday artist presale. Others compress it, with an early window only a day before the public release, as Craig David's Birmingham and Brighton dates did on 1 and 2 October 2026.

Lead times in the UK presale calendar: why 2027 shows sell in 2026

The second number worth understanding is the distance between the sale and the show. Across the British tours in the table, the median time from general sale to the first concert date is 246 days, a little over eight months. That is why the 2027 calendar is already busy in autumn 2026. Some acts go much earlier: Fisherman's Friends' 34-date 2027 tour and Boyzlife's twelve dates went on general sale in December 2025, more than a year ahead, which is common for theatre circuits that book venues far in advance. Others are shorter, with club and arena tours sometimes announced only four or five months before the first date. Stadium shows sit at the long end; Sam Fender's Proper Massive Stadium Tour '27 opens its presale in late October 2026 for shows in June and July 2027. When a row shows a sale date many months before the concert, that is normal for the British market rather than a sign of an error.

Short and long gaps on the UK presale calendar

The gap between presale and general sale tells you how much preparation time you have once a tour is announced. Most rows sit at one to three days. A few run longer, typically when a tour stacks several separate presales across a week, as Nickelback's did with an artist window on Tuesday, network and retail windows on Wednesday, Live Nation on Thursday and the public sale on Friday. Slipknot's (sic)est Stadium Tour London date had its presale on Tuesday 29 September 2026 and the general sale on Friday 2 October. Kings of Leon's O My Beloved Summer 2027 Tour London dates used two album presale days before their Friday sale. At the other extreme, a handful of tours have no presale at all and go straight to a general sale, which is common for heritage acts and theatre tours; Deacon Blue's seventeen-date Raintown 40th Anniversary Tour and Will Young's nineteen-date run are examples in our data. A missing presale column is not an omission in those cases.

Where the dates fall on the UK presale calendar

The city lists in the table reflect the shape of British touring. London leads with 178 of the 736 dates we track, followed by Manchester with 138 and Glasgow with 102. Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool and Belfast complete the main circuit, with 51, 25, 23, 20 and 17 dates respectively. That ranking matters for presales because the three biggest cities usually host the largest venues, the most dates per tour and therefore the biggest allocations, but also the heaviest demand. Smaller cities can be easier. A tour that sells out its London nights in minutes may still have tickets for Leeds or Cardiff later in the week, and some tours, such as Passenger's Wild Love Tour, include places such as Exeter and Brighton that draw mostly local buyers. The calendar also records summer outdoor series in towns such as Halifax, Lincoln, Scarborough and Llangollen, where several acts appear at the same open-air site across a few weeks of June and July 2027.

The seasonal shape of the UK presale calendar

The month bars beneath the table show when the tours we track begin. February and March 2027 are the busiest starting months, with 33 and 35 tours respectively, followed by April with 27 and May with 23. That reflects a long-standing British habit: arena tours cluster in late winter and spring, while summer is dominated by stadiums, festivals and outdoor series. Autumn 2027 is thin for now, with only a few tours starting in September, October and November, but that is largely because many autumn tours have not been announced yet. In recent years, plenty of autumn arena runs have been revealed in the spring or early summer before, so expect that end of the calendar to grow considerably during the first half of 2027. If you are waiting for a particular artist who usually tours in autumn, set an alert rather than assuming a quiet calendar means no tour; a blank month in October 2027 today is more likely to be a gap in announcements than a gap in touring.

Presale types and platforms across the UK presale calendar

The presale types recorded against British 2027 tours show who usually controls early access. Live Nation windows are the most frequent, tagged on 15 tours, followed by artist presales on nine, album and Spotify windows on four each, O2 Priority on two, and American Express and venue presales on one each. Those counts only include presales we could verify, so the real picture includes more network and promoter windows than the table records. On the platform side, Ticketmaster appears on 169 platform records, with AXS on two and See Tickets and Ticketek each on one. In practice, a row naming Ticketmaster and Live Nation means you will probably buy through Ticketmaster with a Live Nation presale page in front of it. Where a row names more than one agent, as Jorja Smith's London date does with AXS, Ticketek and Ticketmaster, each agent may sell its own allocation, so it helps to check which accounts you need before the sale.

What the 2027 UK presale calendar still has to fill

At the time of writing only one British tour in the table carries an upcoming sale window: Sam Fender's stadium tour, with its album presale on Wednesday 28 October 2026 and general sale on Friday 30 October. Everything else is either on sale already or awaiting details. That will change quickly. Major tours for 2027 continue to be announced every week, and summer stadium shows, festival line-ups and late-year arena runs are still to come. We will not guess at specific artists, venues or dates that have not been officially confirmed, and the calendar only lists tours with announced 2027 dates. What we can say from past seasons is that autumn and winter announcements often focus on the following summer and spring, while spring announcements bring the autumn arena season. When a new tour is added to the calendar, its row appears with whatever is known, even if that is only "Sale dates not announced", and the 🔔 Alert me button lets you follow it from that moment.

Recent sales recorded in the UK presale calendar

The last few weeks show how busy an autumn on-sale period can be. On Friday 16 October 2026, general sales opened for Nickelback's Everything Under The Sun Tour and Ayra Starr's London date, both after O2 Priority and Live Nation presales earlier in the week. The following Friday, 23 October, brought general sales for Bon Jovi's Forever Tour 2027 London show, Dominic Fike's Comedy Tragedy Parody Europe 2027 dates in Birmingham, London and Manchester, Jack Johnson's SURFILMUSIC Tour, Damien Rice's O 25th Anniversary Tour and André Rieu's UK and Ireland Arena Tour 2027, which used venue presales on the Wednesday and Thursday. Earlier in October, FLO's Therapy At The Club Tour and John Summit's London arena date both used combined artist, Live Nation and Spotify presales on Wednesday 7 October before a Friday 9 October general sale. Planning a week with the UK presale calendar

The table is most useful when you turn it into a short plan for the days that matter. Once a tour you care about appears with an upcoming window, the steps below take only a few minutes and cover most of what can go wrong on the morning. They assume a typical British pattern of early windows midweek and a Friday general sale, so adjust them if the row shows a different shape. The point is not to chase every window but to identify the two or three you genuinely qualify for and be fully ready for each of them, rather than arriving at the Friday sale tired and unprepared after missing an earlier chance.

5. Set two reminders for each start time and join the queue a few minutes early on a single device.

Any access code for an early window comes from the official channel running it, and what we add is a single place to see the timing of each sale and an email alert when something changes. If you spot a tour that seems to be missing or a date that looks wrong, the most likely explanation is that the announcement is very recent or that the information has not yet been confirmed, and the row will normally update at the next refresh once the details are verifiable.

Which tours appear on the UK presale calendar?

The calendar includes tours with at least one confirmed 2027 date in the United Kingdom, drawn from official announcements and the published event listings of the main ticket agents. That covers arena and stadium headliners, theatre circuits, club tours and summer outdoor series, provided the dates are announced. It does not include rumoured tours, festivals whose line-ups are not yet public, or one-off private and corporate events. Each tour appears once, with all its British dates grouped together, so a twelve-date arena run takes a single row rather than twelve. Irish dates on the same tour are counted on the Irish calendar instead. Because the tracker follows tours across many countries, a world tour with only one or two British stops still appears here with just those dates. The underlying data is refreshed regularly as new tours, dates and sale details are published, and the busiest periods, typically Monday to Wednesday mornings when most British tours are announced, bring the most changes. Each refresh can add new tours, update a status from "Sale dates not announced" to an upcoming presale, or move a tour from an upcoming window to "On sale since" once the general sale has passed. Because promoters sometimes add a presale less than a day before it opens, there will be moments when the official announcement is ahead of the table. Does the UK presale calendar show ticket prices?

No. The calendar focuses on timing and status rather than prices, because British ticket prices are often published only shortly before a sale and can vary across several tiers for the same show. Following the Competition and Markets Authority's investigation into the Oasis sale, Ticketmaster committed to telling fans in advance when an event uses tiered pricing and to showing the range of prices to people in the queue, so the event page itself is the best place to check prices on the day. Presale tickets are usually offered at the same face values as the general sale, so knowing the timing gives you the earliest chance at the full range rather than a discount. Can the UK presale calendar tell me if a show is sold out?

Not reliably. The status labels describe the stage of the sale, not the stock that remains, because availability changes minute by minute and agents rarely publish exact figures. A row marked "On sale since" may refer to a show that sold out in minutes or to one with plenty of tickets left. To check availability, look at the agent's event page directly. It is also worth remembering that sold-out shows often regain tickets: production holds are released once the stage layout is finalised, extra dates are added after strong demand, and face-value resale exchanges return tickets from fans whose plans have changed. If a tour you care about appears sold out, keep your alert active so that you hear about added dates, check the official exchange regularly in the final weeks before the concert, and look at other cities on the same tour, which in Britain frequently have tickets available well after the London dates have gone.
